This is a really nice TV and the price is great. I got this for my dad at the Facility he is at and he needed one without all the Smart TV. He cant see well and needed something simple. I got the 32 in and he loves it. Great picture. Worth the money

A surprising purchase

Liz July 2, 2024

For the longest time, I have only bought Samdung TVs. When my latest purchase of m it for 8 years, died, I didn't have the funds for another Samsung. So, on the advice of Dept Manger, I bought a Phillips 32 inch TV. The color is amazing, the volume is do much better than the Samsung. i would definitely recommend this TV.

This tv is not as well built as the ********* year model of the same non-smart Philips tv. The stand legs are thin plastic, but maybe will hold up over time. The remote, unlike the ********* model, does not have a freeze button - useful for reading credits at the end of a show or movie. The tv antenna system could use better quality meters - the poor, normal, and good scroll meter is bested by the ********* year model that has a scroll bar with about 30 bars for better antenna channel metering. Overall though, a good tv, just not as good as my ********* Philips 32 classic, which is still running beautifully.

Very Happy With My Purchase

ES April 28, 2026

I was looking for a classic tv that I could watch without internet access. I was so happy when I found that the Phillips HD LED tv. Now I can watch the local channels when wifi is offline. There are two HDMI connections (if you want to connect Roku or firestick), a connection for your antenna and the composite connection. Set up was very easy. The picture for local channels is very clear (make sure you have a good digital antenna) and the tv's internal sound speakers work very well for me. No soundbar needed. If you are looking for a tv to watch old school.... then this is the one. Hopefully they will be around for a while. Not a fan of smart TVS

This replaced a broken television which had cost more. It's a better product than the more expensive one. The picture and sound are both much better. Set up was simple and quick. I'm seriously considering ordering another one to replace a television in another area of my home.

Satisfied customer

Sue June 19, 2025

The first one was damaged even though the box was perfect. I think it was a factory error because the legs were not right either. The second one I received today was easy to assemble, sits very well on the legs and has a very nice picture quality. Another plus is the sound, so much better than I could have anticipated.

great tv.

Susan February 16, 2026

I have had it running over 4 hours at this time, everything is so nice about it, the sound i have changed a few times now, to me its kind of tinny. That could be my poor hearing. It did get here last night without damage of any type. The reason for buying 2 of them, just in case one got smashed. I am so glad I was able to find tv`s that are not smart, even though you can do some apps on this. Things I don`t need or even want to use. I am very impressed with the ease of set up, and clear picture. All I needed was a tv, to watch 6 different channels , no games, movies or anything else, News Max being the most important. I will wait and see how long this tv last, before I say any more.

So So

Anonymous April 25, 2025

It has a very clear, crisp picture but I put commercials on mute and if you don't have the remote in the EXACTLY correct position it won't turn the sound on or off without trying 2 or 3 times and sometimes it decides to change to talking to describe what's happening on the show, then it won't turn off for a day or 2. I hate that. It also has a 0 to 100 volume control but after 50 it's all the same volume. The TV was inexpensive so...
