I have been using this remote for years for my non-smart TV. It makes controlling the attached Roku, using the TV sleep timer, etc., much simpler. Losing the remotes is not an issue now! Battery life is excellent. You do need to remove two tiny screws and a small panel to insert the Roku remote.
2nd time within 5 years purchasing this universal remote for my TV. Super easy to set up, only had to buy it again because the kids cracked it. Holds my sound bar remote in the back so it's like a 2 in 1!
Pairing was impossible 😞
The greatest thing for smart TVs that have a Roku plug-in since sliced bread. Well, not really. But it's extremely handy and eliminates an extra remote laying around. I have two of them. One for the main TV in the living room and one for the master bedroom. Very convenient. The Roku remote fits inside the Panasonic Remote and all the Roku controls are on the flip side.
Works as advertised. Easy to setup - STR button works great for streaming. I have not even needed to use the actual attached Roku remote. The only thing I would like to add would be a macro button to turn off/on all devices with one button.
This makes controlling Roku and tv so easy!
It works with my equipment. It is a little tricky to program based on the way the instructions were worded. Fortunately there was a you tube video that cleared up the confusion. The Roku remote actually snaps in the back of the remote. I thought it was just a 'saddle' with extra programmable buttons for TV, etc. So, when I use the Roku remote, sometimes my fingers will hit a button on the other side. But all in all, I like it. It saves having three remotes out every time I want to watch TV.
This remote did not work for my tv. It worked the power and volume, but I have a Roku tv, and wanted a remote that had a key pad for ease of changing the channel without having to go through the guide. It wouldn't do that.
Doesn't work with my Roku remote even though it says they're compatible. Waste of money. Also I don't like the button set up personally, but others may like it.
Roku remote was unable to communicate thru the plastic window in the remote. Totally defeats the purpose.
