I like everything about this Philips. My last Philips lasted for 10 years! The size was exactly where I needed it to be. The delivery was a day late than what was shown on FedEx tracking. The price was fine for me. I do not like the Android part of it, because I am an iPhone user...but I don't want my phone blasted across my TV anyway, so it's okay!
It's a decent TV for the money. The one thing it could use is a visible power indicator light on the front. It's hard to tell whether the TV is fully on or off. Or if the signal to power on has been received, since there's a delayed reaction in booting up. This TV also has ghosts. On several occasions, often in the middle of the night the set's audio will play for 20 seconds or so. It was scary the first time it happened.
Just used the tv for one day and stopped working the next day. when I tried to turn it back on. called and getting a replacement. but this is such a hassle and disturbance to process. so just a warning to future buyers if the new one. I receive doesn't work properly, I would highly recommend not to buy this tv.
Gee, it was a great TV for 40 whole days until it stopped working. Walmart refused to help us, replace it, or refund us the money, even though we had the original packing and box, and all the accessories. This is my last purchase from Walmart. Period.
buggy as heck. restarts on its own so much if you want to watch TV its best to start trying to get on your Hulu, Netflix, etc before you really mean to watch. freezes sooooo much on Netflix hulu, and other streaming services with the highest internet mbps. so unsatisfied.
tv worked great for about 9-10 months there is a warrenty on it. Which I have tried to get help through basically telling me no! I had to factory reset to get it to work, well they want pics which I can't give cause for the time being problem solved. my warrenty is up soon so unless it happens again I'm out a year old tv
received the tv. my mom sat to the side until i came in town to put it up on the wall for her. Took the tv out of the box. turned it on and only half the screen shows. no problem.return it. it walmart. Oh, BUT there was a problem. you have 30 days to return, so i lost my money
DO NOT BUY A PHILLIPS TV. This TV is dropping Wifi over and over again. We can't even get Comcast to work right now. I have had the TV two weeks and it is going back. I'm so angry that I have had to put up with this nonsense. I see others complain on how it drops Wifi. Phillips -- fix the problem!
I purchased this tv a couple of months ago. I loved it at first now. I wish I would of purchased another brand. The wifi switches off. If it on too long it gives me messed up picture quality n the Netflix comes up as error and won't play.i have to unplug for a few minutes and it will work good for a couple of hours and then it does it all over again. Should of got the warranty but hey my fault. My brothers does the same thing so that's how I know it wasn't just my tv
Considering returning this tv. It really is not at all what it is hyped to be. Pros: Easy set up. This tv took about 16 minutes to set up and link my google account. That is literally the ONLY pro. Cons: The "feet" are the most flimsy, cheaply made feet Ive ever experienced. The sound is horrible. Even after adjusting the equalizer repeatedly the sound on this tv is the worst Ive ever experienced. I bought this to replace a Vizio non smart tv that is about 10 years old. That tv still has better sound than this one. There is absolutely no depth or richness to the sound on this tv. The google assistant is VERY limited. It cannot do A LOT of the stuff a nest can do. Im using my nest to control my tv that is how bad the google assistant is on the tv. It cannot set a timer. It cannot make phone calls. You have to push a button the remote to use the assistant at all, you cant just say "Hey google". There is also quite a delay from pushing the assistant button and when its ready to "listen" to you. The nest has no delay. The remote does not seem to be programmable to control your direct tv either so you have to move backward with technology and use 2 remotes. Im not doing that. We have direct tv. I use my direct tv remote and then my voice with the nest to control the tv itself. Its just a pain. The volume has no numbers when you adjust it. My Vizio was perfect on 7 in the bedroom. I have no idea what the volume is at on this tv at any given time because there are no numbers associated with the volume. The picture is no better than that of my 10 year old Vizio. There are numerous preset picture settings as well but some are totally worthless without adjustment. The remote is about as wide as the Direct tv remote but 2.5-3" longer. That is of no concern to me though. Although my direct tv remote has an ergonomic design and the remote for this tv does not so it does feel awkward and does slip out of your hand. But again I dont really use the remote for the tv, I use my nest to control the tv instead. In summary, pretty much every feature used to advertise/sell this tv did not live up to even basic expectations. Save your money and buy a cheaper smart tv. And I am an android fan too by the way so its not because I dont like android. Its simply a really inferior product for a non inferior price.
