Ordered this online and it was delivered the next day. Got home after work and unpackaged it, pulled my older Samsung 58" down and installed this 60" Philips. I wasn't sure what difference it would make, only being 2", and I really wanted a 65" but my space won't accommodate for it. I am so happy with this TV! The size does make a difference (lol) and so far the picture quality is excellent! Definitely a step up from my older Samsung. It was a little difficult getting my Bose sound bar connected but after a little bit of Youtube I was able to get it to work perfectly! The remote itself is easy to use, quick response time. No double pressing buttons to make it work which was an issue I had with my other TV. So far, so good as they say. Yes, I would definitely recommend this, especially if on a budget.
Love this smart google tv , amazing specs , I can download any tv apps I want , compared to vzio which does NOT allow you to download anything because comes with pre installed apps only , this tv was worth every penny , and Smart Control lets you track it , so you never loose it!
good tv. was surprised by all the free channels you get and picture and sound is good. never had a google tv however its nice and has so much to offer. good purchase 👌
Excellent TV for the price! The picture quality is sharp, colors are vibrant thanks to the QLED panel, and the 4K HDR content looks great. Google TV is easy to use and gives access to all the major streaming apps. Setup was quick, the remote is simple, and the overall design looks modern. For a 60-inch TV at this price point, it's hard to beat. Highly recommended for movies, streaming, and everyday use.
We like the in between size. Bigger than 55", but not 65". We have it connected to a flat panel amplified antenna. We get about 60 broadbast channels and much more through the internet. No cable connection. We are still working to connect our soundboard. bar.
My only downfall with this TV is if you have a DVD player that only has AV outlets it will not hook up to this tv. I had to spend extra money for a dvd player that has a HDMI hookup for the TV. Now I still get to watch my TV shows again that I have on DVD
TV is great. However, experienced lots of frustration and doubt about functionality during initial setup that I was about to return the product. The remote casing is molded and made of low quality plastic- batteries were not actually connecting to the metal component to deliver power which rendered the remote unresponsive and had the TV switching to store mode constantly during troubleshooting. This took a while to figure out as the batteries looked like they fitted perfectly, only after hours of trying ( couple of days really) with customer service not reachable during weekend, that i figured the gap between battery head and connecter mettle piece was a barely visible tad too big. Once I got the remote working, after hours and buying and trying brand new battery sets, setup was quick and smooth. Phillips can do better, in terms of quality control and customer service availability.
I'm very happy with this TV overall. The unique 60‑inch size was exactly what I needed for my space, and it's a size you almost never find anymore. For the price, I wasn't expecting anything close to “$1500‑TV performance,” but this Philips model genuinely exceeded my expectations. The TV is extremely lightweight, which made mounting it simple. I use my Roku remote to power on the TV, control the soundbar volume, and navigate the Roku stick in HDMI 2, while the soundbar is connected through HDMI ARC on HDMI 1. Once everything syncs, the setup works smoothly and the picture quality is better than expected — solid colors, good brightness, and great streaming performance for the price. There are a few quirks, mostly related to the well‑known Philips HDMI handshake behavior. During the first 20–30 minutes after powering on, the TV will occasionally show quick micro‑disconnects as it re-establishes the HDMI connection. It always stabilizes afterward, but you do notice it. If I haven't used the TV for a few days, the Roku remote won't always power it on, so I need to use the Philips remote first to get everything talking to each other again. Also, the soundbar will occasionally disconnect, and I have to manually reconnect it. None of this is a deal‑breaker — just mild inconveniences that come with this brand. Overall, the combination of value, size, light weight, and better‑than‑expected performance makes this a great purchase. Despite the minor HDMI quirks, I'm very satisfied with it.
TV is AWSOME...... BUT, was not able to pair up with XFINITY cable remote system. Had to use the PHILLIPS TV remote for on/off volume and XFINITY cable remote for the cable channels. The specific Philips pairing code was not availible that we could find.
Delivery was fantastic. said latest would be 10pm. got it before 3pm. ordered it this morning. lots of stuff to go through for set up. i use google and took a minute since i am "duh" when it comes to electronics. my phone helped out alot. easy to setup but alot all at once. the color/picture is fantastic!! the sound quality sucks. i went through the menu and changed the sound but didnt make a big diffrence. i did hook up my soundbar and it worked so it sounds much better. thats the only reason i gave it 4 stars. if u r in a $$$ crunch i did use one pay for easy payment options.
