Philips 8FF2FPW/37 8" Digital Picture Frame - White

Great product....spend the extra money to buy this one. I purchased 2 other frames from other companies and had grainy photos. This one has great resolution. Easy to work. Only issue is the frame is "shiny" and shows fingerprints. You do get what you pay for.

With picture frames you can't just judge the quality on the resolution; the image processor is the key to picture frame quality. This frame is great. The quality is very impressive, the screen size is 4:3 so you don't have to resize or crop your pictures and the user interface is easy enough to handle. The only negative I can say about the frame is that the random feature isn't the greatest. It tends to pick pictures that it likes and repeats them often, so you may see a picture 3-4 times before it gets to all of them. The randomness gets better with the more pictures there are on the frame.

Product is easy to use and pictures are clear and bright. Looking at pricing for other brands, the cost is most reasonable for its size. We are extremely happy with it.

This was given to us as a gift. It is great. I love how we didi not have to do anything to the pictures before we put them on the frame

I received this as a gift for Christmas, and am thrilled. It was the best gift that I received. A digital photo album. This would be a great gift for any parent or grandparent. The only negative, is that you have to buy a memory card, at a minimum of $10.00 more.

Pros: The picture qualiity on this photo frame is excelent, with bright, sharpe pictures - the best I've seen. No complaints here. Bought it on sale (white frame that does not show fingerprints) for $79 Cons: The buttons on the back are clunky, making it difficult to navigate, but I have had no problem with them being on the back like others have. The directions are horrendous. The mode and menu functions are confusing, and take a time to figure out. When you add a frame to a picture and save it, the frame DOES NOT show on the thumbnails. This makes it a guessing game as to which photos have been edited. The only feature this works for is rotating. The biggest con for me is the random setting. It sure isn't very random. It seems to have certain photos that it absolutely love, playing them over, and over, and ovrer, and over again before it cycles through all the photos. Conslusion: It may seem like I am dissatisfied with this product from my list of cons - I am not. These are just nit-picking items (with the exception of the random setting that drives me buggy) that I only have to deal with when I add new photos; however, it did cause me to reduce it's overall rating. The quality of the pictures is what matters to me. Set it up, start the show, then forget & enjoy.

cons - plastic frame, virtually no internal storage (all pictures must be loaded via a memory card which must be bought separately), frame does not come with cord for downloading pictures from computer (must be bought separately) pros - picture quality is superb for the cost. similarly priced frames from other manufactures have internal storage, cords and wood frames, however the picture resolution qualities come no where near the resolution of this frame. For the price and the picture quality I gladly sacrifice the wood frame and internal memory. If you shop around you can find 4gb SD cards on sale for $10.

I am not able to download a user manual and therefore cannot use the product.
