I bought these baby bottles for my second baby , I regret not buying before for my first baby! They are perfect!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We went through several different bottles to accommodate our baby who is both bottle fed and breastfed. This was the only one that's worked for him. I like that there are different nipples with flow options as well. The different “level” options have help him adjust to the bottle and can go up or down a “level” according to when he's feeding if he needs more flow or less like when he's asleep or awake. Overall finding these bottles was a life saver and will be sticking with them
my twin babies love the philip avent natural bottles! as preemies, i had to start with the smaller 4oz bottles. now as my babies are older & eating more, i ordered them the 9oz. its so easy to clean & very easy to assemble. the nipple is amazing for my babies! they literally control the rhythm of their feed! at first it took a few feeds to get used to, but they eventually latched on really well. just always make sure you align the notch on the ring with the vent hole on the nipple & also face the vent hole up (align with their nose) while baby is eating to provide proper milkflow & to reduce air intake. other than that, you cant go wrong with these bottles! p.s. you can also use the nipple from the evenflo balance wide bottles on the philips avent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bottle has a great design and is super easy to clean, assemble, and take apart. Unfortunately, my baby has not been interested in taking any bottle or pacifier yet- she has refused all ‘dummies' so far and prefers the breast. I'm hopeful she will eventually take to a bottle. The Philips Advent Natural Baby bottle is a good size and easy to grip and hold. This is an excellent choice for breastfeeding moms because of the wide shape and the responsive tip. These are excellent features that mimic mom by only releasing milk when baby is actively drinking! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel for honest feedback of the Philips Avent baby bottle. I absolutely loved the set. I'm a breastfeeding mom so this works well to avoid flow and nipple confusion. Baby takes to bottle wonderfully. I have not experienced any leaking with the bottles or nipples. I love that there is only four pieces to the set so it makes assembling and cleaning easy to manage. Being a breastfeeding mom we hadn't purchased many bottles to see what baby would prefer, baby approves Avent and we do too. We will definitely be expanding our Avent baby bottle collection and be buying Philips Avent 8oz bottles.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love them only bottles I used that help with colics for my kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time mom trying to EBF I was struggling as my baby has a tongue & lip tie. He struggled to properly latch leaving us both frustrated and helpless. Finally I gave in and began introducing bottles. I found that many nipples were too quick for him or he disliked the shape. Thankfully I received a set of Avent bottlesas part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. From the very first use my baby was in LOVE and I could finally breathe. This nipple was slow enough and mimicked my breast enough for him to comfortably eat. He was able to pause to swallow and breathe without the nipple leaking causing him to cough and me to stress. My newborn easily adjusted to the size 2 nipple at just two weeks old. I'm he flow was perfect for him! We began with size 1 but found that it was a tad too slow for him. I also loved the convenience of the wide shape in my hand during feedings. It feels very natural and comfortable. The bottle is also very easy to clean! Thankfully it has minimal parts making it quick and painless. I am so thankful for this bottle and nipple!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set. For starters, I love the color of the bottle. I think the blue is a nice change from the normal clear bottles. The bottle is very easy to clean with a bottle cleaning brush due to the large opening, and the nipple is very easy to clean too. The nipple is labeled a level 2 nipple and is suppose to be “baby controlled”, however, these nipples seemed to be slower flowing than my size 0 nipple bottles. My baby had a very hard time drinking from the bottle and eventually became frustrated near the end due to having to work so hard. My baby is breastfed so I understand how important pacefeeding is, but I felt this was extreme.
Product works once you figure out the vent hole situation. New parent and these are most of the bottles we received from a baby shower. Everyone has said that these bottles are great and the best bottle. I have found only frustration with these bottles. You have to put them together exactly right with the vent hole or it won't work. I'm giving this 2 stars because it's a bottle I have to think and pay attention to at three am when I'm trying to make a bottle. Not cool and not very thoughtfully designed in my opinion. Getting rid of all our bottles to switch to MAM brand as they are more friendly with just trying to make a bottle.
These bottles should be taken off the market and recalled!!! Tried the 4 oz bottles for my newborn and found that he worked so hard sucking and getting next to nothing to eat. He would take an hour to get 2oz down if he didn't fall asleep during the feed first. Fast forward to my child's 2 week appt…he not only lost his birth weight which is normal, but he dropped from 7.10 to 7.4 and hasnt gained anything back. We tried different formula, different nipple flows…nothing worked. We finally bought a different bottle type all together after these bottles essentially were starving my baby and he began to put on weight quickly. Don't buy these bottles, they should be recalled.
