Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple, Slow Flow (Flow 2), 4-Pack, SCY962/44

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these nipples!! The no drip nipple is absolutely amazing especially when you have little helpers that love to help feed! The wide shape of the nipple fit comfortably in my 3 month olds mouth and she was able to stop to take breaths as she needed without a constant flow of milk. They are easy to clean and fit great in my bottle washer. The quality is great as they with stand constant washing and being ‘chewed' on by my little girls gums. Not only are they very sleek looking, but the ‘technology' behind them is great!! The no-drip tips are a game changer and help make way less of a mess. My baby was able to pause to swallow or take a break without the bottle nipple continuously dripping. I feel as though the flow was perfect for my 3 month old. The nipple was very easy to clean and the shape was similar to a breast so he could latch nicely as well. Again, my favorite feature is the nipple only letting milk out when it is sucked. Not having an additional mess during feeding is great for a busy mom or dad!!

I've actually used these with my other two kids and they are great ! I especially love the no drip tip. Never have to clean up split milk ! The flow is perfect for my newborn. I noticed with other bottles it takes her longer to drink but these were just right for her. I especially love that they're so easy to clean. I would recommend this product to any new moms.

This helped my baby set her own pace by not constantly dripping milk into her mouth forcing her to drink. If mimicked the breastfeeding process easily and she could latch the bottle very well. We have problems with her getting too much air from bottles causing gas bubbles later on but she didn't get that with these! The flow seemed to be perfect for her right now and we will upgrade as she can take on better flows. It was very easy to clean but just make sure you get under the nipple head really well! The best feature for me was the no-drip design and the way it allows babies to feed at their own pace, this really helps prevent overfeeding, and allows for pace feeding. The no-drip feature truly worked: no spills, no messes, even when the bottle tipped over. The Flow 2 nipple was a little slow for my 11-month-old, but she was still able to finish her full feeding without getting frustrated or bored. I think the Flow 3 would be a better fit for her at this stage. The wide nipple shape felt natural for her to use and made for an easy transition. Everything was easy to clean, and I'll definitely continue using these nipples moving forward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great set as an addition, a replacement, or as a flow upgrade for the Philips Avent bottles. They are easy to clean and simple to assemble. While they are not the softest nipple option available, they are shapely enough for my primarily breastfed baby not to mind. The bottle nipples do not drip when they aren't in use, and they also appear to hold up well over time (although the manufacturer recommends replacing them every 3 months). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched to using the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple with my one month old baby and it's made a noticeable difference during feeding time. One of my favorite things about this nipple is the design — especially the lip that secures the nipple into the bottle lid. It fits so snugly that it completely prevents leaking and keeps air from sneaking in while my baby eats, which makes feeding feel a lot more controlled and mess-free. At first, it did take my baby a little while to adjust to the new nipple. He's always been bottle-fed, so the more breast-like design, and self controlled milk flow required a bit of a learning curve. But once he got the hang of it, I could really see the benefits — he's no longer gasping or choking while eating, which used to happen more often than I liked. He seems more comfortable, and feedings are smoother overall. The quality feels great, and I love that the nipple only releases milk when baby actively drinks. It gives him better control and has helped reduce spit-up and fussiness afterward. Definitely worth trying if you're looking to improve your baby's feeding experience. My 7 month old would let her nipple slip out of her mouth when she was finished drinking and there was never any access or spill. My baby was able to pause to swallow and breathe while feeding and the nipple helped her to establish a steady pace. The flow worked perfectly for my little one. She has used these nipples since taking a bottle at 6 weeks. This pace is still effective at 7 months as at slows my baby to not over eat. My daughter is very intuitive when it comes to eating and these nipples support that. The wide shape of this nipple are very easy for my baby to latch onto. There was no difficulty when bottles were introduced using this nipple. The nipple and bottle are very easy to clean. I will note that if I have a particularly dirty nipple that has collected fat in the top I do have too add additional soap to make sure that the bottle washer removes it properly and there is no residue. I like that this nipple is sleek and my baby loves it! We have never had an issue with these nipples and are happy to know that when we are ready to change flow rates we have that option.

I didn't know what I was missing! The no drip tip is a game changer. It allows the baby to have complete control over the feed with no mess! I find myself a lot less worried about over-feeding and noticed less spit up. The pace of the flow was perfect for my newborn.

Looks like Philips just released a new design/model for the natural nipples. My son has been using the old size 1 nipples and looked like he needed to size up - so I ordered the size 2 (new version). Well looks like the size 1 old is the SAME as the size 2 new. He struggled with size 2 and I couldn't figure out why until someone told me they are not a 1 to 1 swap. I literally sat here and made a chart to compare and sure enough he should move from a 1 (old) to a 3 (new). This is incredibly frustrating as a new mom.
