Philips Avent Natural Response Nipples, Medium Flow (Flow 3), 4-Pack, SCY963/04

I needed these for my 1 month old baby who wouldn't finish his bottle with the size 2 nipple. He needed this flow to drink his whole bottle.

Grandson loves these with the Avent bottles.

The no-drip tip only releases milk when baby is actively sucking, which made feeds feel more relaxed and less messy. The flow matched my baby's natural rhythm. He could pause to breathe and swallow without getting overwhelmed, especially during slower, post-nap feeds. The wide, breast-shaped nipple made latching easy and didn't cause any confusion when switching between breast and bottle. It was also simple to clean, with no annoying crevices. If you're looking for a nipple that supports a more natural pace, this one's worth a try. We've already restocked.

The no-drip tip was wonderful no mess when baby threw her bottle down. Our baby to be very comfortably pause to swallow and breathe while feeding. I believe the flow worked perfectly for our girl she didn't seem frightened with it and definitely wasn't choking so I think it was a perfect fit for her. I really liked the wide shape of the nipple it seemed more of a natural shap and they were easy to clean. I really liked how much my daughter enjoyed them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely loved using these nipples for my child's bottlefeeding journey. Although I was primarily breast-feeding in the beginning, I am now mainly bottlefeeding. At first, I was hesitant to try bottles due to nipple confusion, but my child really took to these nipples with a great wide latch and never had issues switching back and forth between breast and bottle. I really appreciated the feature of the no-drip tip as it allowed my child the flexibility to pull the bottle out and get comfortable without soaking him and wasting milk. I ended up using a slower flow nipple than recommended and my child appears to enjoy it. I appreciate the wide mouth shape of the nipple and its easiness to clean. After washing and sterilizing daily, I have not noticed any change to the shape or feel of the nipple. Thank you Stellar Product Testing for allowing me to try these Avent nipples out for free. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this nipple set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was a bit hesitant as to how my twin boys would adjust. To my surprise, they had zero issue switching over! The nipples feel very similar to the natural shape of a woman's breast, making it super easy for my babies to latch on. This also made for easy cleaning as the surface area is wide open to scrub. The no-drip tip was fantastic. My boys were able to rest and breathe when needed without any spillage. This was such a bonus feature for me! No messy cleaning from bottle spillage. The flow was perfect for my 9 month olds. Steady flow, but not enough to choke them. They get fussy with too slow of a flow. Overall, would absolutely recommend this product, best features I've seen for a nipple set so far. Love the design of the nipples and the ease of cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nipple shape of the Avent Natural seems to be a good fit for my baby because it is breast-like, which is important to us since we are using a combination of nursing and pumped milk bottles. My 7 month old baby was able to keep up with the flow of the size 3 nipple, however, it was a little faster than what she was used to. This led to her finishing the bottle before getting sleepy, which doesn't work as well for nap times at our house. We ended up going down to a size 2 instead. With either nipple, the no-drip has been so helpful! We are at a "grabby" stage, so the nipple requiring active sucking has cut down on wasted milk and wet, drippy messes. This nipple cleans easily whether by hand or in our bottle washer. As fans of this bottle line, one thing I would like to see is a combo size nipple pack (0,1,2, & 3) so that parents (and babies!) are better able to determine what flow is best for them in one go. This would work better for helping new parents troubleshoot flow rates instead of buying one size and realizing it doesn't work or no longer works; heading to the store or online and needing to remember which size you have vs which size you want to try - which can become a difficult task in the newborn/post-partum haze. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the idea of the natural response nipples. My baby is currently 9 months old and we do a combination of pumped milk in bottles and nursing. My son struggled with these nipples as it still drips out pretty fast even without sucking. For breastfed babies it needs to be slower so they have to work for the milk more. My lactation consultant also said the slope isn't great for breastfed babies as it's not gradual enough. My second problem with them is the leaking. I'm not sure if it's the collar or what but sometimes it's fine. Other times it leaks from the collar like crazy. I'll check if it's screwed on correctly and it seems like it is but it's been frustrating at times. I received this nipple set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
