Love this product!

Chucksmom November 14, 2015

I love these pacifiers. The fact that it is one solid piece gives me piece of mind. I don't have to worry about it falling apart. This is what they gave my son in the hospital. Pay attention when purchasing they have more than one kind. The 0-3 month is much softer and more pliable than the 3+ month one. The reason being that babies can start getting teeth at 3 months and need something stronger that they cannot bite through. But as long as they do not have teeth the 0-3 month are perfect. My son prefers the softer ones but I have some of the 3+ for when he starts getting teeth.

Philips Avent Soothie Pacifier, 3+ months, blue/blue, 2 pack

KWaters27 December 12, 2018

We have been using the Avent Soothie brand pacifiers since we left the hospital. 9 months later we still love them. My daughter has tried other pacifiers but we always seem to come back to these. I love the one piece solid design. The material is thick and never cracks. These pacifiers are easy to clean with soap and water and the occasional steaming in a steamer bag. I like the different color options but tend to stick with the brighter colors so that they are easier to find in the middle of the night. We have loved these from the beginning and will continue to use them. I received this product to review via the weeSpring Parent panel.

Excellent product!

RebeccaE September 13, 2016

I was lucky to receive a package of Philips Avent Soothie Pacifiers in exchange for my honest review and honestly, I thought they were great! I received the 0-3 month size in pink and purple and they worked perfectly. They were just the right size and super cute. They were durable and easy to wash. I liked that they are made in the USA and they are BPA free. My daughter is breastfed and these did not interfere in any way. She had absolutely no problem with them at any time. I already purchased another package in the next size, 3m+ and was pleased with the price of them. I would definitely recommend these and would use them again in the future.

The ideal pacifier but not my baby's favorite

beezer December 12, 2018

The shape of the Philips Avent Soothie Pacifier is simple and smooth all around, so your baby won't accidentally poke himself in the eye. The one-piece design is ideal, as it's safer than multi-piece pacifiers that can pose a choking hazard if the small pieces come loose. The material of the Soothie is very durable and holds up well against sharp little teeth and can be cleaned quickly and easily as well. I simply wash it with the family dishes. Unlike some pacifiers, water doesn't get trapped inside, so I don't worry about mold. From the time my son started solids, I stopped sterilizing his bottles and pacifiers, but it's super easy to pop the Soothie into your daily sterilizing load or into the dishwasher. Another benefit of the Soothie is its air holes that allow skin to breathe, which is helpful for babies who are prone to rashes. Aesthetically, I absolutely love the beautiful periwinkle color of the Soothie! Despite all the pros of the pacifier, my little one refused it. He's an older infant at ten months, so he's starting to outgrow pacifiers. But even as a newborn, his soother of choice were snuggles over pacifiers. Out of the three or four brands we've tried, he's only consistently liked the one he received at the hospital, which has a smaller nipple than the Soothie but has a similar texture and springiness. I thought if he doesn't use it as a pacifier, he would at least play with it, but he was not interested at all. He would decisively drop it every time I handed it to him. Aside from wanting my baby to like the pacifier, the only thing that would make the Soothie better is a loop for a handle. The Soothie is a wonderful pacifier. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this pacifier to review!

Don't like the super soothies! 3m+

sbmom September 9, 2012

Before Avent took over the soothies they use to advertise the super soothies, witch was for older babies I guess. I used the super soothies I had for my son for my daughter and she hates them. They are harder and she just can't keep them in her mouth. I just bought a pack of 3m+ for my daughter and it's the same thing! The pack says nothing about being a super soothie, but the soothie its self says it on it! I understand that the older babies should have a stronger bink, but I just wish the pack would have stated that is was harder, I thought that maybe the mouth part was just a little longer.

Cute but textured

MellieMel October 29, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While these are super adorable, the texture on these pacifiers compared to the clear ones is off putting to my little one so they didn't end up using these. We went back to the originals.

SUPER SOOTHIE 3M

DD25 October 10, 2016

I received the philips super soothie pacifier as a free sample in exchange for agreeing to write a review. I've tried giving it to my daughter at 4 months and she refused it, i tried again at 6 months and my daughter still refused. She prefers the classic avent philips pacifier perhaps because the nipple is softer. The super soothie has a firmer nipple almost like a teether, and that's exactly what my baby treats it as. She'll nibble on it and rub it against her gums but she won't suck it. She only uses a pacifier at bed time and with the super soothie she fought to go to sleep until I gave her the original.

Not as good as the one they give at the hospital.

Mal22 February 13, 2012

I bought these pacifiers at a store 2 different times and they are so hard that I can't bend them like the one I got at the hospital. My daughter won't use it because it is so hard she can't get ahold of it. She loves the one from the hospital. I'm not sure why they would be different, but I've wasted my Money 2 times buying these.
