Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier, 0-6 Months, Arctic White / Green, 2 Pack, SCF091/01

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a love/hate relationship with pacifiers in my house. We have tried 7-8 different brands up to this point with my 4 month old. Currently, our main source of settling down/soothing is hands in our mouth 24/7- cue allllllll the extra slobber! I was recently given the Avent Ultra Soft pacifier set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Honestly, I was not very optimistic. I assumed it be would like every other brand we have tried. Upon opening, I immediately liked the soft color palette we were sent and the fact that it had a “handle” for the pacifier clip to attach to. Many pacifiers we have tried had nowhere to attach a clip, so this was a plus before it ever even made it to his mouth. The case they came in (which can also be used as a sterilizer!) was an added bonus to help keep up with the little things (always disappearing!) AND help keep them clean instead of just throwing them down in his bag. Use of the pacifier during the day is pretty much nonexistent for us- his choice! However, the biggest win we have noticed over the last few weeks is that typically when he is sleeping and begins to whine, sucking on his hands is the only thing that will help him soothe. Now, we are able to put this pacifier in his mouth and it does the trick instead! He still ends up spitting it out after a few minutes, but it helps him self soothe without his hands being in his mouth and all the excess slobber that comes with that! It is gentle on his skin, and the soft, flexible design helps keep moisture from lingering and causing a rash. Overall, we are pleased and will continue to stick with this as our go-to pacifier when needed!

This was perfect because my 2 1/2 month old currently has issues using his pacifier. He's been using the Philips Avent 0-3 month pacifiers since he was a baby because this was the brand used in the NICU and it's what he was used to. I could not get him to use anything else! They are on the heavier side and seem to fall out of his mouth quite a bit. This pacifier is GREAT because it's lightweight. Also my baby latched on to it immediately. Almost as important as these things is the fact it comes with case. Don't ask me why it's so hard to find something to hold my other ones but it is, haha. They always are covered in dust and debris when I need them so I end up having to rinse them. This one in it's case is awesome because I just throw it in the diaper bag and it stays clean. Bonus that the case can me microwaved for sterilizing the pacifier. Would definitely recommend this pacifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took 2 times for my little one (4months) to take to this paci. I love the colors that they come in as it made it easier for people to know she was a girl, lol. They were also more of a mauve pink and not the hot pink plastic look. Once she adjusted to them, she loved them and is able to grip them easily. I love that she doesn't have that red ring around her face after sucking for a while, it shields her skin from catching drool. I received the set for free from Stellar Testing Panel, so it didn't really matter to me that they were made with planet friendly materials. The plastic “sterilization case” is a nice bonus, but if we're around a microwave, we're also probably near a sink with hot water and can sanitize that way too, so that wasn't too much of a factor for me. We decided to purchase more after receiving our set for free so we could have them at grand parents houses, the car and travel bags. We travel frequently and love that the pack isn't silicon all around so less things stick to it. It's a great “day” paci and we've already purchased more so we're never without!

We've been using the Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifiers for a few weeks now, and my baby really likes them! He took to them right away, and I've noticed they're super gentle on his skin — no red marks or irritation around his mouth, which is a big win. The soft, flexible shield design is great. It moves with his little face and doesn't seem to bother him at all. I also really like the colors — the green and tan are simple, modern, and look nice with everything. Plus, it's a bonus knowing they're made with planet-friendly materials. The travel case is so handy too. It's easy to toss in the diaper bag, and the fact that it doubles as a sterilizer makes life so much easier when we're out and about. Overall, I'm really happy with these pacifiers — soft, stylish, and practical. Definitely a favorite in our house! They actually stay in her mouth better than others we've tried and they help soothe her when she's fussy. I also like that the case holds two and can be used as a sanitizer, which is super convenient. The colors are nice and neutral too, which I prefer over the really bright ones. The only downside is that our cat seems to like them as much as the baby does, so keep them out of reach if you have curious pets around! Highly recommend! It comes with a sterilizing case that you can use to clean the pacifier and to keep in storage whenever you are out . 80% plant based so it's made with nicer and softer material for the baby face. The best pacifier on the market right now. I love these Avent pacifier that was received for my twins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 month old loves the Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier 0-6m. It is soothing and durable and is impressively made with 80% plant-based materials. My baby likes the soft nipple and I like how easy the handle is to pick up and put back in his mouth. The shield is soft and fits well to the curves of my baby's cheeks. My little one did not seem to mind it against his skin. Another important feature is that the pacifier does not retain water after going through the bottle sterilizer or sterilizing inside the plastic case. The pacifier comes in a set of two with a plastic carrying case. The case has been a great addition to the diaper bag and opens/closes easily. I also like that you can just add water to the case and microwave it to sterilize the pacifiers. The colors (yellow and light blue) were cute and I find the pacifier adorable in my little one's mouth. At first glance I was super impressed with the color options and the container it comes in to protect the pacifiers. Then I read the label and the container doubles as a sterilizer case! That is a great feature for the babies, especially as newborns. I received this the week my baby was born and she's been using then for 3 weeks. She seems to like it when she wants to take a pacifier. I like that it does not touch her skin at all so doesn't cause any irritation. I don't believe the ones I received are glow in the dark but they do offer that option which I love for night time! I didn't like that the pacifier seems too big for her right now but she is a newborn and this is for 0-6 months so it most likely would he better for a little older baby but she is still able to use it so far. Overall I do think it's a great product and I'd reach for it again!

My 10 week old has shown a strong preference for pacifiers with a flatter shape, so these work for her. The “shield” of the paci isn't exactly soft, but it is flexible which seems to be comfortable for baby and hasn't caused any irritation on her skin. I love that it's made mostly from plant based materials and the colors are nice - one light pink and one neutral tan. The standout feature is definitely the case that doubles as a sterilizer - genius!! I can toss the case in the diaper bag and go and can sterilize easily when we get home.

Be Aware buyers!! I normally trust phillips baby products but this one really shocked me. This product has serious design issues causing water getting trapped inside pacifier, this could possibly cause bacteria growth inside pacifier or risk of trapped soap water entering baby mouth. I wont recommend it to anyone untill phillips fix this issue. Phillips please look in to this as this is unsafe and harmful for our little babies.
