Philips Avent ultra soft Pacifier 6-18m, day / night, SCF094/10

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a really great experience with the Philips Avent Ultra Soft Day/Night pacifier set! The first thing I noticed was how soft and flexible the shield is, it seems really gentle on my baby's skin and didn't leave any red marks around his mouth after using it. The design is simple and cute, and it feels like a really high quality product overall. My baby did take the pacifier, but he didn't keep it in for very long. I honestly think that's more about his personal preference than the pacifier itself, because the shape and softness seem like they would be very comfortable for most babies. I appreciated that it was lightweight and easy for him to latch onto. One feature I absolutely loved was the glow in the dark front on the pacifier. That made such a difference during nighttime wakeup! I didn't have to turn on a light or fumble around in the dark trying to find it in the crib. It's one of those small details that ends up being incredibly helpful for tired parents. So overall I think this is a really thoughtfully designed pacifier set, especially for babies with sensitive skin. And it came with a little carrying case that fits two paci's so that was very nice too so I could travel with them w out them getting dirty. Even though my baby didn't keep it in for long stretches, I was still really impressed with the quality and comfort of the pacifier. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 month old baby loves these pacifiers! He's never been huge into pacifiers in general, but he really seems to gravitate towards these. I like the soft, flexible shield as it's gentle on his skin. The colors are nice, but the designs weren't really my taste…couldn't really tell what they were - a bunch of grapes and maybe a deer? But my baby likes looking at them haha. I like that there is a day and a glow in the dark night option. The sterilizer case is also nice!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving these products to test from Stellar, I was so excited to see that they have a glow in the dark option which is perfect for those evenings when you can't find the paci to give or your baby can find it themselves. The nipple shape is good for developing mouths as well and overall really great construction of the pacifier with the holding ring as well.

First off, I love how the carrying case doubles as a microwave sanitizer, and that I can fit both pacifiers in it. The shield is slightly flexible and soft. It isn't as soft and flexible as I was expecting, but it still wasn't too hard and rigid. My baby at 1 week old took to the paci right away, and I was pleased at how well it stayed in his mouth. The shape of the nipple doesn't seem breastfeeding friendly, though, and he has since not liked to suck on this paci as much. The glowing aspect, however, is amazing! I can find the paci in the dark. Even after 5 or 6 hours of darkness, the glow is still strong enough that I can spot it. It also doesn't seem to bother him, though I can imagine that an older kid might be distracted by the glow.

We end up holding them in his mouth for a bit before he wants it. We received these from the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out and he loved them right away! Once we pop it in his mouth he immediately latches onto it. We don't have to hold it there waiting for him to latch on! We've been using them for about 1-2 weeks now and haven't noticed any skin irritation at all. They seem to be super gentle! The glow is a game changer at night. I'm not fumbling around trying to find his paci in the bassinet. And the glow is soft enough that it doesn't disturb his sleep at all. The designs and colors are also so cute! It helps me keep track of them too. The hedgehog goes to sleep with him and the sunshine is his daytime paci. We love them!

She is very picky with her pacifiers so we were stuck with only one brand, after receiving these it was game over. She accepted them very easily and now they are her favorite ones. I love the soft flexible shield and butterfly design. I'm very wary with things she can put in her mouth so I love that they are BPA-Free, BPS-Free, Phthalate-Free and PVC-Free as well. Gives me ease as a mom that I am giving her something that is soft, comfortable, and safe. I can always trust Philips products. The color ways they come in are so cute too! We love the little animal designs, the hedgehog is our favorite. One thing I never knew I needed was a glow in the dark pacifier but it really helps finding in the bassinet when we're frantically trying to soothe our 5 month old. Highly recommend this product. Bonus points for including the sanitizing/carrying case.

We've been going through some sleep transitions with our 5 month old (eliminating swaddle, moving to crib, daylight savings) and trying this pacifier has made our lives much easier during this time. First, the pacifier is softer than others we have, which our baby prefers for sucking. He ends up using hard rubber pacifiers as teethers, which serves a purpose but does not help for bedtime and nap times! Second, I find this shape and design helps our baby as he is learning how to self soothe. The glow-in-the-dark feature is a game changer for helping him find the pacifier at night. The harder shield on this pacifier makes it easier for our baby to find the nipple side and put in his mouth. He doesn't seem interested in teething on the plastic, so he just finds the nipple and starts sucking. As a result, we have had much more success in self soothing using these Philips pacifiers. Third, the pacifier also comes with a small sterilization case so you can easily clean them with water and a microwave. I threw one in my diaper bag so when I'm visiting family / out of the house I can have clean pacifiers in minutes. One thing I wish was better: water can get stuck in the nipple when you're washing these, and it's sometimes hard to get out.

We received the Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier Day&Night packs as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. First, I want to say how much I appreciate the orthodontic design of these pacifiers. It will absolutely to help avoid having to correct issues later on. This pacifier material is SO soft, non-irritating, and the second best of all the traits - the night time pacifier glows ALL night long. No scrambling around in the middle of the night to find a backup pacifier or digging around the crib in the dark! The shield is also made out of a really flexible material so it doesn't dig into your little one's face. We're getting close to the end of our paci journey but I will definitely be keeping these for our next little one to try. I definitely recommend these to be on your registry to try with your baby!

The overall design isn't really my style—it looks a bit bulky and not as cute as some other options out there. That said, there are a few features I really appreciate that make it worth using. I was excited to try them because the material feels so gentle, but my babies wanted nothing to do with that texture—the moment I popped one in, they'd immediately work it right back out of their mouths with their tongues, looking annoyed. It was a stark contrast to the original Philips Avent pacifiers, which they take without a fuss and actually keep in. If your baby is used to the standard shape and firmer feel, this "ultra soft" version might just end up on the floor rather than soothing them.
