Philips Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier 6-18M, Misty Dawn / Silk Beige, 2 Pack SCF091/17

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't have high hopes going into using a different pacifier, but I was pleasantly surprised! We were given this pacifier set to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and man are we SO thankful! My daughter, who is now 11 weeks old, initially was using a different pacifier. Usually she would take the pacifier for a minute or two if she was calm already, but not if she was tired/frustrated/fussy. I think it was because it was either too big, or it made her think she was being forced to eat when she wasn't hungry. Then we switched to the Avent Ultra Soft Pacifier 0-6m and it was a miracle. We pop this in her mouth when she is fussing/crying/freaking out, and she is almost instantly calmed. She sucks it like crazy and falls right asleep. Because it's soft, it doesn't leave any marks on her face. I also love that it's orthodontic (The bulb isn't too round, and won't mess up her mouth down the road.). While my top priority was for the pacifier to calm her down, it also is visually appealing. It has a cute tan and pink option and they're made from plant friendly materials. It also comes with a sterilizing case which is awesome for quick cleaning if it falls on the ground. I really love these pacifiers and would absolutely recommend them to anyone! I can't believe how easy it was to switch to this pacifier and how much better it makes nap time and car rides for everyone.

Baby girl immediately took to them in preference above the one given to us at the hospital. They have been soothing her ever since! We keep multiple in each room to always have one on hand! The soft colors are very complementary and the eco friendly materials make mom and baby's skin happy The combo sterilizer/travel case has been wonderful for taking extras in the diaper bag and sterilizing at home and extended family's houses!

The size is perfect — not too bulky, and my little one took to it right away. The soft, flexible shield is super gentle on her skin and doesn't leave any marks, which I really appreciate. I also love the simple, modern colors and that they're made with planet-friendly materials — it feels good knowing they're safe and sustainable. The travel case is such a smart idea! It keeps the paci clean while we're out and about and doubles as a sterilizer, which is so convenient. Overall, I'm really impressed and would definitely recommend these to other parents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a newborn comes with so many unknowns. I bought every pacifier under the sun to try, she didn't like any of them. I was then sent the Phillips Avent Ultra Soft by the Stellar Panel and was met with surprise when she took to it right away. As a parent, I loved the soft colors because it goes with every outfit and the soft feel was gentle on my baby's skin, whom we've had lots of baby acne issues with. I loved that it also came with the easy microwavable sterilization case because you never know what's on the ground and it gives me peace of mind to know I can quickly sterilize it because passing it to my baby.

We received this double pack of pacifiers last week and tried them out pretty quickly. We normally use Avent pacifiers, but a different type. My granddaughter lives in my house and she is 3.5 months old. I switched her to this pacifier and she had no problems adjusting to it at all. She seemed to like it, it seemed to fit her mouth well. The shield is soft and did not leave marks around her little moth like some others have. The pacifiers we were sent were soft pastel colors and very pretty to look at. One thing about me picking the soft colors though, they seem to blend in with blankets and such and I seem to misplace them here and there! But that could also be because it's a pacifier and they seem to get lost so easily. I love the cases these Avent pacifiers are sent in, as that does help me keep track of them. Plus, I just throw the case in my diaper bag and go, and don't have to worry about it getting lost in the never ending bottom of the bag. So the case makes it extremely easy to keep track of when traveling. All in all these pacifiers are a great addition for us!

I was previously using a different brands pacifiers and my child was never really crazy about them. The moment she tried these pacifiers, she loved them. She seems to bring them straight to her mouth and uses them not only to sleep but to soothe. They are lightweight, fit her mouth shape perfectly, and just see to be made well. They are gentle, have great color options, and I absolutely love that they are easily sterilized in the case!

This was perfect because my 2 1/2 month old currently has issues using his pacifier. He's been using the Philips Avent 0-3 month pacifiers since he was a baby because this was the brand used in the NICU and it's what he was used to. I could not get him to use anything else! They are on the heavier side and seem to fall out of his mouth quite a bit. This pacifier is GREAT because it's lightweight. Also my baby latched on to it immediately. Almost as important as these things is the fact it comes with case. Don't ask me why it's so hard to find something to hold my other ones but it is, haha. They always are covered in dust and debris when I need them so I end up having to rinse them. This one in it's case is awesome because I just throw it in the diaper bag and it stays clean. Bonus that the case can me microwaved for sterilizing the pacifier. Would definitely recommend this pacifier!

They are super cute and I love that they come in a reusable case that can be sterilized! In terms of function, I really think it depends on the baby. I have twins and one likes these whereas the other can't manage to keep it in their mouth. The one who likes these seems to find them very comfortable and I love how lightweight and good quality the materials are. All in all, definitely worth trying these out for your baby!

It looks like the shape of the shields are smooth on his skin. -The sterilizing storage container that they come in is the best. So convenient and saved us many times from accidentally dropping them on the floor. - Everything can be sterilized. I love it clean! -The colors are neutral and soft pastels, my kind of colors;) -They stay in my baby's mouth with the design of the nipple. What I don't love about the paci: -The long nipple takes time for my baby to get a good latch. -The ring around the paci is large enough that my baby can occasionally pull it out of his mouth. My baby is currently 1.5 months and hasn't gotten used to pacifiers yet. She sometimes will take a paci, but more often than not she just spits them back out. But I do love the recycled material the pacis are made from. They're soft and easy to use. My favorite thing about these pacifiers are actually the case it comes in! I'm always losing paci's or using ziplock bags to store them and it's more convenient having a case so I can find them easily. The case also doubles as a sterilization case, killing 2 birds with 1 stone! The only thing I don't like about this paci is that you have to be careful when washing and drying. Water can get inside the nipple (which you can see in the picture) and if not dried properly, can create mold. Overall, these are great paci's, just didn't work out for my daughter.
