Philips B8905 3.1.2 Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer, Dolby Atmos

This Philips B8905 sound bar, oh man, it go so hard. I buy it thinking “okay maybe trash,” but NO, this thing slap me in face with good sound. My Roku TV see it instantly through the eARC magic hole, I don't even press button, it just go “HELLO I AM HERE” and boom, subwoofer also join party like it know rent due. Atmos? Bro… this not fake Atmos like other bars do. This one shoot sound at ceiling like pew pew and it bounce back down like ninja star. Sometime I think ghost speaker whisper in my ear. I look around like “who there,” but is just sound bar doing parkour. You gotta crank volume a bit for full sky‑sound, but when you do, whole room become sound tornado. My room small so sound bounce like crazy pinball, but even then my Samsung Q990F and Onn Ultra Slim 5.1 look at this thing like “bro how you do that.” Sound quality? Clean like freshly washed chicken. Voices crisp, details sharp, nothing muddy. Subwoofer go boom‑boom but not stupid boom‑boom. It blend with bar like peanut butter and jelly, very friendship. I swear I thought this system gonna be temporary, like “okay I use for two day then return.” But NOPE. This thing now king of room. I not even bother with real satellite speakers now. Maybe your room different, maybe sound run away from you, who know, life crazy. For me, easy 10/10, no think twice.

I had gotten this soundbar on sale, and I'm really impressed by what I got for my money. it has good sound and good bass. I connected it to wifi, and I can play through my TV and also through my phone.

this sound bar bumps, way better than the tv speakers and more reliable than my previous soundbar. the previous sound bar was a samsung and audio would cut out for 2 seconds every once in a while. so far this soundbar has been great! bonus points for the design

The Philips B8905 3.1.2 Channel Soundbar has exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a soundbar offering 3.1 and subwoofer. I will highly recommend this soundbar to anyone considering a 2.1 or 3.1 soundbar purchase.

The sound is much louder on ARC and Optical yet subdued by sound suppression clean-up on E-ARC. I was surprised at the Optical connection since I used it by accident after I could not get cord loose on back of TV. I had used it for a different soundbar and it worked ok. The bass on the Phillips soundbar system is lighter than another one I have from a different company but that 5.1 system costs much more. This system I tried on two different televisions so far and after seeing a manual online hookup is very easy. Remote is modern looking and very slim. I will wait a while before I switch to WIFI so I will only watch TV and DVD's through this system. Changing bass, treble, center sound is very easy with remote.

Got the soundbar for my monitor and consoles. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Just wow. Sound is so crisp and clean. Subwoofer is also very very good. Makes it seems like youre in a Dolby Cinema thearer. Would definitely recommend at this discounted price!

It's a good soundbar for the price if you can get it for less than $150. For more than that is a bad deal. The fact that you can get airplay 2 at this price point is enough reason to buy. Otherwise, the sound quality is pretty mediocre compared to more expensive soundbars.

I got this baby for 97 dollars so I'm happy with it, I saw another review that said their package was damaged when it arrived so was mine xD but I paid 97 bucks so I'm not too upset about it everything inside the package was fine. It sounds good, the subwoofer gives the sound a good touch.

I received a package containing my order, the packaging was SEVERELY damaged. the box completely shredded, and retaped with clear package tape. Clearly someone had a bad day, and my stuff was the recipient The soundbar and sub are intact, however there are some large dents on it and sub. and its missing the remote and instructions manual. I have initiated a refund. I guess I should have just refused it. Ill update upon settlement.

I bought 2 of these as the price was too good to pass up. I then realized why the price was so good. It kept overheating near the front of the soundbar and cutting out soon after. It was loud enough for the 10% of the time that we heard audio. It was always cutting out, and honestly it was so constant we might as well have had no audio. Useless and a waste of my time returning it.
