Philips - Cordless Hair Clipper with 28 Length Settings, Blue

Just received today at noon. Done myself a deserving haircut after 40 days of lockdown with irritating long thick hair. Excellent invention by Philips even from a beginner like me to use without hesitation as its seemless with constant power. Value for money product especially since used this product on my 14 year old son too. Thanks for those inventors and peoples at Philips.

Amazing build quality with valued price. Has functionality to fulfill my regular hair cut. Very light product, yet powerful. Easy to use and not easily get heated up. Very recommended.

There are so many clippers on the market that choosing one is difficult. I picked this Philips machine for a number of reasons: it was cordless, it could be charged in an hour, it looked comfortable to hold, its blades didn't need oiling and it was supposedly designed in such a way that it wouldn't jam. I attempted my first ever DIY haircut this morning, expecting that it would be a bit of an ordeal: I had six months of thatch to get rid of, and I'm probably the clumsiest person on the planet. In the event, the process was entirely painless and glitch-free. Leaning over a sheet of newspaper on my kitchen table, it took me about an hour to achieve a 10mm cut that was reasonably uniform; someone less cackhanded could probably have done the job in a quarter of the time.

At first I was considering the cheaper 3000 series, but after some thinking, this 5000 series has more value since it has a wider (by around 1-1.5 inch) trimmer width. Also, it comes with a more modern design as well as turbo mode (not that I will use it as after testing, even normal mode is sufficient). Besides that, this series trimmer is washable and the razor doesn't need to be oiled at all. I had my wife trim my hair for me and she's only doing it the first time and was scared. After some convincing, she even said it's too easy lol! The only thing this product is lacking is the nose/ear trimmer tool (head). That's all from me. Overall, totally recommended!

been using philips clipper for 10 years. seen the improvement over the years. Need to improve battery life.

It is cordless with battery can last pretty long time. It is very easy to use even for beginner like me. It is washable as well. A very great and worth hair clipper that perform very well~

The battery charge doesn't last long, a maximum of 15 minutes. The attachment for short haircuts works fine, but the attachment for long haircuts is almost useless: the hair spreads out and doesn't get under the blade.

Very disappointed to use Philips products, I broke my 3-15mm hairbrush (only used for 4 months) but the spare parts were not sold by the service center. Ideally every product that is issued must be with spare parts that are easily available .. really disappointing after sales from Philips
