Perfect angle and cast of ambient light on the wall. Makes all the difference.

This little lamp works perfectly as an accent feature. I use it in tandem with my other Hue lamp. It lights up a dark corner and creates a cozy vibe in my bedroom. I love that I can control and coordinate these lights simultaneously with my phone using the Hue app.

If you want a small but powerful light that can go from dim to blinding in range, get the Bloom table lamp. It has really added to our Hue collection and is surprisingly bright!

Looks like I made a great first choice for my RGB LED light. It is sturdier than you think and doesn't look like a toy the way so many competitors do.

These lights are great for our bar! We had the old versions initially (for probably 5 years) and had issues with the cord plugin being plugged in backwards and not holding up so I was relieved to see this new design! It's much better!

When it works, it's great. Unfortunately both their bluetooth app and their instructions are out of date. There is no "connect" button anywhere on this lamp; it plugs into the wall and that's it. I had success scheduling everything for about a day before it just stopped working even though I hadn't changed any settings. Trying to reconnect was a huge pain. I kept looking for this button "on the bottom of the lamp" to get the app to see it, unplugging it and plugging it back in again, forgetting the device and trying to re-add it. I ended up having to delete the whole app and starting over from the beginning, which sounds simple, except that I was troubleshooting this all myself with instructions from Philips that were wrong. In any case, the device is great when it works properly.

The cord and not having a switch is inconvenient. The cord doesn't sit flush with the surface and while yes this is an app enabled light it should have some way for someone less tech savvy or guest to turn on. Would not buy again and would not recommend.

Look, the function of the light and colors are nice. But forcing you to data collect which using a light isn't what I wanted for this. First: If you want to turn light on and off. App. Second: Once you have this app they ask for things that have nothing to do with the light.

Hue lights are my go-to. Though at a steep cost, they're built well and were the first around. I would've given them up and went with a cheaper brand, but hey it was too late. This light I thought would go great on my 'minimalist' work desk at home. It just added bulk without adding anything else. I'm looking to replace this with something else.

Software update broke the lamp and there was no way to reset the bulb without a Bridge (in storage), but I doubt that would have worked. I do have other Hue products and have liked them, this just didn't work out very well.
