Literally the best smart bulb for the price
The Philips hue ecosystem is by far the most reliable, easiest to use. Plus, being Philips, and outreaching to a wide developer base, it will survive the everything-IOT phase. Bulbs work flawlessley. Integrates flawlessly with Alexa and Siri (using the Philips Hue Bridge). I also recommend the physical switch and if you're daring, integrate IFTT (If this, then that) to command custom scenes and such. Walmart has the BEST pricing per bulb at $29.99 each. Far better than Amazon.

Worth the money
Once you get the starter kit you'll soon be buying more. Pair with alexa to voice control all the lights in your house.

Changes the room
The colors are really nice. A lot cheaper than the Gen3. I have this integrated with Google Home for voice commands. The Greens are Blues are not that great compared to Gen 3 but every other color is really nice. For this is price, it's a no brainer.

1st Generation Bulb
Walmart is shipping 1st generation bulbs vs 2nd generation. There is a distinct difference in the color richness that the 2nd generation bulbs are able to achieve. I now have some of the 1st generation bulbs mixed in with the newer bulbs and I can't match them up. So be careful if you are expecting to have the newer bulbs delivered. Ordering and shipment to my local Walmart however was the usual first class experience I have come to expect from Walmart.
