Philips Hue Play gradient lightstrip 55"

I like them for adding atmosphere to movies; they look good quality, and the adhesive hasn't come loose yet and feels strong. There's not much more to say, they're excellent. I installed them on a 50" TV. It was a little tricky in the corners because of the irregular shape of my TV, but since the corner pieces have a guide to cut them in two, it was easier.

i have been slow adding Philips Hue lights throughout my house. The TV gradient lightstrip is one the last for me to add. i actually installed these on a 43in Samsung TV. The 54in is a little long, but the lightstrip is flexible enough to wrap back around. They add a fun and more immersive feeling to whatever i am watching.

It's amazing how something as simple as an ambient light strip behind the TV really improves the viewing experience! I thought the colors changing with the scenes might be distracting, but it's not at all. Watching TV without the light seems odd now! I feel like it reduces eye strain too, maybe because there's less contrast between the black frame of my TV and the light colored wall behind it. I would definitely recommend this product, I enjoy it not just when watching TV or movies but playing video games as well.

Expensive but its worth it! I paired it with 2 hue light bars on the bottom right and left and with a the regular light strip on the bottom center around my TV entertainment center and it looks great, soo emersive! I have 360 degree of lights surrounding my TV, its amazing!

The gradient light strip makes watching shows so much more fun. I had a little trouble finding the right distance from the edge of the TV to install it, but once I got that sorted, the installation was a breeze. It helps that I already had a sync box so I didn't have to set it up. I'm sure we will eventually get used to it, but right now there is at least once a night where I marvel at how enjoyable the wall of color synced with the TV is. I waited a long time for the 55" light strip to come back into stock and the wait was worth it. My only small nit is that I wish it went around the bottom of the TV.

Love the product, currently using it as back lighting on our TV and waiting for the sync box to take full advantage of the features. The install was very simple. My only complaint was the price ;)

Easy set up. Read instructions must important step is to clean your tv before installing the double side tape onto the tv. I used rubbing alcohol and have no issues it's been hanging for a week now!

I love the lights and the compatibility with Apple HomeKit. The fit has been good and the lights are very bright or dim if necessary. I can tell the lights are responsive and blends well with the video content, music or gaming.

The included mounting brackets don't work very well. I broke my tv trying to get the light strip to stay in them. The light strip itself is great though.

The backing adhesive is worse than awful. Fell off a smooth glazed wooden backing in less than a week. I've owned 3 gen 1 strips and 5 gen 2 strips and this has by far been the worse. Also the slightest bending messes up the leds both at the connection point and along the strip itself.
