Philips Hue Play gradient lightstrip 75"

Never received the item and Walmart refused to refund escalated the issue and they still refused, I will not be buying anymore expensive items from Walmart. Best Buy is better and values their customers more.

Fits into the Hue eco system which is great. but it is also pretty expensive. I love the hue setup and using it but it is expensive and does have bugs.

Box is damaged

I used a hue light strip strip with the extension to replicate the effect of the play gradient light strip while they were on back order. The gradient effect is definitely an upgrade, but it's not as bright as the regular light strip even though the length is similar. This is probably due to the ambience shell of the gradient light strip. The price is a bit steep and I wasn't able to use the promo code I had.

Finally installed the lights August 8th after receiving them 3 weeks ago and so far they are awesome exactly what I expected from all the videos I saw, love them. Had to wait 10 months for the 75 inch light strips to be in stock but we'll worth the wait.

The light strip seems a bit short for the size tv it is made for. I have a 77” tv, I purchased the 75” size light strip. It's about 8” short of the bottom of the tv on the bottom corners of the tv. There is a visible lack of lighting in those corners. At this price point it should reach further around the tv. I also think there should be one or two more mounting brackets for the lightship to make a straighter line when mounted to the back of the tv. With all of that being said I will say that it is nice to have the lightstrip that works with the rest of the hue bulbs that I already have installed.

Great product. Does a good job of transferring color on screen to the lights. Just wish it was able to do the entire perimeter. Problem solved by adding three play bars to bottom of tv. But when you add up the total cost it's a very expensive addition to possibly an expensive tv. Looks good when it is all set up.

Works great but setup is a pain. It looks amazing but the little brackets they give you to hold it up on the tv don't work well. It's hard to get the strip in them and it slips out frequently. It needs to be designed to grip on better. Also very difficult to set up if the tv is still hanging on the wall if you aren't able to get it down by yourself.

TV Mounts and sticky tape work perfectly to help contour the light around the top edge of the TV down along the sides. Syncs with Alexa fairly easily when you use the Hue Bridge. and effortlessly integrated with the Sync Box. As a Bonus, you can combine the effect with other Hue Color bulbs in the room that might be in lamps or ceiling lights.

This is a quality light, and it does what it advertises – just not as well as expected. I got this to replace the 3 Hue Play light bars I had mounted behind my tv thinking this would have more zones and better gradient. It does not. This light still works from the Sync Box, so even tho the light may have more zones to work with, it's limited by the Sync Box commands, which means performance is no better than the play bars. In fact, I would argue it's a minor downgrade. If you don't already have Play Bars for your setup, then this is a very expensive, but ultimately worthwhile upgrade from simple Hue single color light strips if you've got the cash to burn. But if you already have the Play Bar lights, don't say you weren't warned.
