This was surprisingly easy to install with included adhesive mounting brackets. Paired with the Philips Hue Sync Box, it creates a brilliant, immersive experience, syncing vibrant colors to each of the three sides of the TV screen.
When connected to a hue sync box , the TV provider you use needs to connect directly to the sync box in order for the gradience effect to work . (Ex. Chromcast, Apple TV ) the gradient effect does not work with smart tv , because you cannot connect direct to sync box and then back into TV .
This light paired with HDMI synch is incredible. The physical setup was easily completed and the app was relatively easy to navigate.
Bright with very smooth light transfer as the picture changes!
This can do many things to work with lights on games, movies, etc. but can't unless used with more hardware. As is it functions as a very expensive light that you choose a color for. Great if you are planning to get the whole setup. Otherwise, go with a standard cheap light strip.
65 inch does not fit 65 inch TV. Following the guide doesn't allow the strip to hook into the bottom brackets. Had to use some tape to secure the bottom part instead. Still looks great though.
Product is awesome but I wish there was more tech support for connecting with other devices.
1)While it's updating, more information needed while process not just blinking "updating"... 2)Anytime while you change color after clicking done it goes back to previous color. Why?
