Philips Norelco Beard Trimmer and Hair Clipper Series 5000, Electric, Cordless Trimmer, BT5502/40

Bought it as a Trimmer but works also like a shaver. Never found a Trimmer trim so close. It almost like a shave.. That too without any cuts, nicks or left over patches.. Excellent battery. Just plugged on for 20-30 secs & switched on to check if its working. Machine worked for a neat 3-4 minutes of trimming.. and still was running without crying.. PROS: Smooth & Clean Minimum 0.4 mm with 0.2 mm additions. WATER-PROOF. Super Battery CONS: Way too Heavy for a Personal Trimmer. Should have been a bit lighter. (Maybe bcos of the Power House Battery) On the whole, Really worth the EXTRA DOUGH that I paid..

I looked a many different trimmer reviews before deciding on this trimmer. The trimmer is very well built and has many different heights that it can be adjusted to. The main reason I purchased this one is because of the quality, ease of use and the fact that the trimming heights are controled by a dial adjustment instead of a dozen trimmer head attachments. I would buy this again.

I was looking for a higher quality trimmer for my beard and this one blew me away! It's given me the best and closest shaves ever! I don't know how I ever got along without it! If you're looking for a perfect beard trimmer and a perfect shave, this will more than do the best performance ever! It also has hair and body comb attachments.

I previously used 2 different models of Philips trimmers which were really good and they supported me for 3-4 years which itself explains the quality and satisfaction I had and now I brought this one which is much better than the once I used previously. The build quality and the power of battery are extremely good. I regularly use this trimmer and even my family members use it. So, my final conclusion is that, go for it without any hesitation.

Overall performance is really really fantastic and filling full of happiness. I feel no any piece of pain during trimming. Its so sharp and smooth than other trimmers. Also like Phillips support for extendable warranty on free of cost which is now 3 year. i would like thanks a lot for providing this kind of support in such a small gadgets business.

The product is very good, but the design has to be more skin friendly.. got my skin got cut multiple times. Something that you would be get it fixed in the upcoming models .. thanks

The battery lost its charging capacity right after the warranty expired. Can use it while plugged in but battery dying after the warranty expires is suspicious.

Low powered. "Comb" device does not work well with non-straight beard hair. Does not work at all on hair. Battery charge is easy and lasts for weeks.
