I kept using my old unit because of the vacuum feature so when I saw they brought that back, I knew it was time to replace my old unit whose blades kept popping off every 4 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a replacement for my Phillips BT 7515 vacuum beard trimmer which I really like but it has been discontinued. I tried and returned several brands of vacuum trimmers which did not shave as close. I like to trim my beard and leave short stubble so the variable settings and the vacuum functions are important to me-this shaver has a minimum setting of .4mm which most other shavers don't come close to. I purchased the top of the line BT7670/40 and have been using it for a little over a month. I like the additional wide trimmer head and the stand so I believe the additional cost is worth it. The hair collector works better than I expected and is simpler to clean than the vacuum model that I replaced. The trimmer also looks and feels good in the hand. Kudos to the product team at Phillips !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Norelco Beard Trimmer Series 7000 for a few weeks now, and it's honestly one of my favorite trimmers. I've tried a handful of different brands over the years with a variety of different price points, but I'm really impressed with this one mostly for the consistency in its cut. What initially attracted me to this model though was the hair collector, a feature that my wife very much appreciates in regards to our bathroom vanity! Though a simple concept, I think it's something that most modern beard trimmers should utilize. Battery life so far has seemed solid and the quick charge feature is something I've really needed in a pinch (my past trimmers never seem to have enough battery power when needed and take forever to charge). I also really appreciated that a travel bag was included to fit the trimmer, the attachments, and the stand without taking up much room. I will say that the first time I tried to remove the hair collector attachment, it was so stiff that I thought I might break it when pulling it off. It's just a piece of plastic, and though a helpful piece of plastic, I'm a bit afraid that one of the notches that hold it on may snap one day and that feature will be useless. I wish it was a bit sturdier, and it has become easier to remove with time, but this is an extremely minor criticism. Otherwise, I'm really happy with everything about this trimmer and highly recommend it to others!

It is so easy to clean, especially with the attached catcher. The battery lofe on a single charge is amazing. I've not had to recharge yet after multiple uses. My favorite part though is the adjustment dial. You can get so precise with the adjustments that it makes getting the right length on different areas as simple as can be.
