[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaves pretty good, just not as close as I thought it would, but I knew it wouldn't shave as close as a blade, but it doesn't shave quite as close as my old and cheaper foil razer did, which means if I shave in the morning and need to go out at night I would have to shave again, but I had to do that with the foil shaver! I'm not sure if a faster motor to make the blades spin faster would help or not with the closeness, but then a faster motor could shorten the amount of time the shaver will run on a charge, so you can't get it all, and I needed a long run time on a single charge due to backpacking and traveling.
The only build quality flaw is how the rotary blades stay locked in the shaving head, it somehow came unclipped and the blades when down the sink which required removal of the trap to get them out, I not sure how that can be fixed though, maybe clips on each side so if one clip comes undone it still would hold the heads in place? I know other reviewers had the same problem, so I think a solution is in order since what happened to me was not a one-off thing.
Other than that stuff, it appears to be a well-made razor, it runs a very long time on a charge which is very surprising, the run time is around 90 days on a single charge, no razor will come close to that run time, most are around 7 days, thus you don't need to carry the charging cord and risk losing it while traveling. It's very compact which means it is very easy to pack when traveling, I even take it backpacking.
Overall, for the money it is a good razor, you're not going to find a better razor for that kind of money that will be durable, small, and light enough for traveling, and will run a very long time without worrying about recharging.
I can't give it a 5 star rating due to the way the heads are held in place, but it deserves more than 4 star, so really a 4 1/2 rating is in order.
