Great Razor / Trimmer

KayNINJA October 9, 2018

I bought this as a quick, cheap, replacement for a higher end model that finally died. Honestly, this thing is fantastic and I can't believe I got it for roughly $30. My only MINOR complaint is that it's very hard to trim my upper lip / right under my nose with the GUARD ON - but this is the case for most razors I've used.I'm constantly changing how I "wear" a beard, from letting it grow out to just keeping controlled stubble, and this razor has so many length options that it's perfect for me. I highly recommend it!

it works fine

Connie Brown October 10, 2018

Seems to be a decent product- time will tell... EDIT 3/3/20! After several months of use, I can now say this trimmer is an excellent choice. I recently took it on a 31 day vacation, forgetting to bring the charger(!), and it held up to an every other day usage no problem! Buy it, you'll like it!

Great Beard Trimmer

Ben October 29, 2018

I used this product to trim my beard It is really easy to use with a wheel to adjust the length so I was able to get the perfect length. I also really enjoy that it is wireless so there are no cords in the way. Simple and basic shaver perfect for anyone looking to keep a clean beard.

It's made cheaply but it's durable and it's great.

gb802 June 26, 2021

You can tell when you pull off the razor thing to wash it that it's made pretty cheaply where there's this plastic thing and so on, but it's surprisingly durable, very easy to use/clean and really does a good job.My suggestion would be to put more razors or something for even better coverage, and maybe come with a good lubricant. But the best thing about it is it goes from 1-10 settings, so basically 1 is 0.4mm or 0.5mm (I forget) and it increases to 1.0mm on setting 2 (I think) and then maybe jumps to 2.0mm after that and so on. The point I'm making is, I use it for "stubble" between setting 1 and setting 2 only. You can even (this is what I do) put it at 1.5 setting (which I guess is like 0.75mm) and just use it on that even though it doesn't "sit" on that setting you can tweak it in between and use it.I find that I like it that way, so it's a good razor to fool around with stubble. BUT. It definitely needs to shave a little cleaner as in you have to make a few trips and I would suggest using an oil or shaving cream because some hairs could be longer and just not "picked up" by the route if you shave stubble dry.Works great for me. If anything, saved $20 or $25 on manual razors probably already.

Battery died

John C. Bruckman December 25, 2021

I loved the trimmer...reasonable cost and easy to clean.I used to own their more expensive trimmer which was a pain to clean.A small piece of plastic broke on the old trimmer and it would have cost almost as much to buy the part. Therefore, i was forced to buy the trimmer with the battery that just died.I went ahead and ordered a new replacement, but I should NOT have to replace three of your trimmers in three years. Thanks,John

Died after three months

David M September 20, 2018

Bought in early June, dead in mid-September. Never dropped or treated poorly. Cleaned regularly and never wet. Literally just died on me after 90 or so days. Plugged in or not, nothing. Return policy says 30 days and support policy is 60 days.Visited the Panasonic chat URL provided in the reply to my review. Was told that a new unit will be shipped to me as well as a prepaid return label.

Broken within 3 months

RH August 21, 2018

Purchased in May, no mistreatment.Turned in on this morning and after I was done trimming it wouldn't turn off.Tried repeatedly. Finally just set it down and let him hum until the battery wore down.Otherwise happy with the form factor, settings available, and quality of trim. But damn.3 months?

Started great, but failed.

Tdm2112 September 16, 2018

Purchased in April 2018, its now stopped working. Well actually, its not that it wont work, it always works. Will not shut off. Had to run until battery ran down. Assuming a short, but not safe to charge and use. Past the 30 day return, up until now it worked great. To bad, I had recommended to others.

Worked well - until it didn't

Steve January 31, 2021

I've had this product for about a year and it worked well.Good battery life, nice sharp blades, easy to use. Then two days ago, it turned itself on and wouldn't shut off.I let it run down completely and tried to recharge it - it's now completely dead. Won't recharge, won't turn on. I have another Philips product that is working fine so I can only assume (as others have noted) it's a design flaw with this particular model.

Trash.

fouad September 5, 2018

Trash. Absolute trash. Dont waste your money on this. Battery last about 15mins and needs a week to charge. So frustrating I was excited about this. First month was great. Took it on vacation with me and died instantly and hasn't worked the same since.
