Great body and face electric razor system. I didn't realize how badly my old shaver was doing, until I used this one, and finally saw my facial hair trimmed to an even length, all the way across my face. It doesn't pull, the guards are easy to adjust, the length trimmer is excellently adjustable, and the charge is outstanding.
Great everyday razor I've been enjoying for the past few months that works great on my tough beard. After about a two year period of trying to find cost saving shaving methods including SE, DE, and various cartridge subscriptions I gave up on blades. My tough beard would cause any cartridge to be dull and start tugging on the third day of shaving. After seeing reviews of this I decided to give it a go.For a close shave, it's not going to match a blade shave and probably most foil shavers. I would classify it (for me) as a one o'clock shadow.Good enough for work - and saves me agonizing razor burn and ingrown hairs. I normally use this wet with shaving cream and treat it pretty much like a wet/dry electric shaver that I rinse off as I shave - similar to what you do with a blade. Shaving time is pretty close to a blade shave since I normally wet shave with it.On the blade life, I am getting about two months on a blade with use three to five times per week close shaving.Again, I have a tough beard so your mileage may be better than mine. Also, the wet shaving may cause it to wear a bit faster. The cost of the replacement shave heads with subscription is comparable to any of the monthly blade cartridge subscriptions. The charge on it lasts me about three weeks and the percent readout is a niceso that you have a good notice of when to charge it. I do agree with other reviewers that the "carry bag" provided is a bit cheap. If I travel, I will probably get a carry case for it.
I bought this for myself and love it so far. I don't like a super close shave and this thing shaves to the perfect length and is really easy to use. It came with a charging stand and tons of attachments while the design and charging station are both sleek. I love the design and the white LEDs used to show battery life. Not looking forward to having to buy the specific replacement blades but this came with a couple and I think it'll be worth the cost in the long run. So far I'm really happy with this purchase.
I have had the razor since February.THE BEST electric razor I have used in my life. The replaceable head last about a month or more, I shave every other day. Clipper head is great. Battery life is great. Used it on a one month trip to Portugal and did not have to charge it once. Very good product. Highly recommended.
Closest electric shave ever, smooth, great shave. Not as close as 5 blade razor (which I can't use) BUT as good as a 2 or 3 blade razor and way better for your skin, so quick, so easy with or without shaving cream. Battery last for 20 shaves, great handle and shaves both directions. I love it so far.I see a few not so good reviews about closeness, even a razor you go over more than once, maybe I don't have as thick of beard like others. But check out YouTube lots of happy users with thick beards.
God quality, works well -- except it takes many passes to get a close shave. It takes me about twice the time as my Braun series 9, but that is what I expected. When I need a close shave, I use my Braun and when not, I like my one-blade pro.I travel internationally for work a lot to developing countries, which is why I wanted the one-blade for multi-use, quality, and size.
My beard routine is letting it go for 4-6 weeks then taking it down to about 2 mm to coincide with my haircuts. It struggles taking long beards down to stubble. I bet it works fine for trimming it down a little. However I use a pair of clippers to get it down to a workable length, then the one blade to finish it off for a nice even clean shave that looks about a week out from a clean shave.I also find it works well without any attachments to prime my neck down to stubble so I can easily take it all the way down with a traditional razer and cream.Does a decent job down low, but if not using any attachments take your time...
I have another shaver for my head, but I was looking for one to shave my face and occasionally some parts of my body. This shaver is pretty good, easy to use, shower proof and handley. The only defect is that it doesn't come with a good travel case, only a bag, and you probably need to purchase separately to a different vendor. I think that for this price it should be included a worth one.
I bought this specifically for the pubes area. It cuts very poorly with the skin guard I ended up going back to my Gillete razer. The battery life is great and it has a nice power display. The power display could look a little better with less yellowish color. It also charges really quick and the shaver itself looks nice.
This is a wrong advertisement as I received the QP6510 instead of the QP6520. For those wondering what the differences are between the Canadian (QP6510) and the US model (QP6520), the US model comes with the following (the QP6510 does not):1. Wider range on the comb settings (and finer on the low end): 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 vs 0.5, 1, 1.5 etc..2. Digital display with battery percentage status3. Travel lock4. Included travel pouch (just a cloth bag with a drawstring)5. Charging stand6. And of course, it's more expensive
