[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smooth shaver that doesn't irritate your skin and easy cleaning
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the clean shave of this razor. I replaced a Norelco that was 15 years old. The new one is lighter and charges more quickly. I’m glad I bought it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shaver gets a full charge but still spends slower than it should. 😒 However, I do have another Philips shaver I have no problem with.
I am enclosing a short review of the Philips Norelco shaver 2500 inside the box you will get a Electric Shaver,Storage Pouch, Charging Power cord,Protective Cap. Let's start with some key points. Grip: It has a good rubber grip under the front of the shaver but i find the top of the razor to have indentations mimicking the front rubber grip of the razor and it's made of hard plastic instead of rubber which i find to be bit slippery at times. Rotational Blades shaving experience: For me personally it took more time to shave with this shaver then the amount of time shaving with a traiditional razor. Yes, I found it more convenient to shave with the shaver but it's wasn't any quicker then using a traditional razor. As far as getting a close shave in my experience you will never get a real close shave using a electric shaver compared to a tradional razor. Pop-Up Trimmer: I find that the trimmer itself wasn't as precised as i liked it to be. I found that i had to do some work in order to achieve a satisfactory shave with this shaver
Since moving business iut of Holland their peoducts are just not curting it anymore. Tgis 2500 shaver came recommended, but it is underpowered, and a true lightweight. itll shave you, but not with the traditional Norelco quality they once had. i believe they are atill in business because most buyers are used to the brand from the good old days.
Worked for a bit over two months and quit cutting. Blades still rotate and motor sounds different. I've used similar Norelco products over twenty years. First lemon I've encountered. I ordered a 7000 series replacement and cant return this one as I've tossed packaging.
I hate the cord, the transformer, the grip, the plug to the shaver, it rolls when you set it down, hard to clean, no brush to clean with, the high pitch noise, does not cut close, the cost!
I gave this to my husband sor Christmas 2020. It fell apart on March 2, 2021! That's a little over 2 months.
The battery in my previous Norelco shaver lasted 3 shaves easy. This one lasts ONE. The battery in this model is COMPLETE CRAP and slows the shaver down too very quickly. WORTHLESS BATTERY. The shaver works OK....
I've used Philips norelco electric razors for years and this model sucked. I returned it. I did the initial charging instructions as instructed. Compared to much older models I had to go so many many times over the hair for it to pick it up and just seemed very weak overall. Very disappointing
