Philips Over-Ear Wired Headphones Stereo PC Headset Open Back Headphones with Cord HiFi Headphones - SHP9500

I picked these up to use with my Xbox. I used to run a wireless headset, but the sound quality wasn't great and keeping it charged got annoying. I paired this Philips set with a V‑Moda BoomPro mic, and together they make a perfect wired gaming headset. No batteries required and the volume is plenty loud and sounds great. The headset and mic were under $100 total, and the audio quality is great on both ends — I hear everything clearly, and other players say the mic sounds excellent. It's a shame this headset is getting harder to find, because for my setup it's absolutely worth the money.

Excellent sound and build quality given the price point. I like that both the 3.5mm cable and ear pads can be replaced in the future if anything happens to them.

Not much to say really. Excellent sounding cans. Great headband up top. Very large ear cups with just the right amount of clamp force make these the most comfortable headphones I've ever used. The only downside really is that the overall visual design could've been a little more streamlined. For example, getting rid of all the white writing and just keeping the big L, R and Philips logo would be a great start.

Very good sound and build quality. possibility to upgrade to a better cable since it's detachable, sound is balanced, not over emphasized on bass or highs, comfortable in head. It's the newest model, with frequency response of 6-35k. Happy with purchase.

Great sound quality for the price. Comfortable once worn in, and won't make your head sweaty or tired even after hours of use. Leak a bit more than closed back design. I don't mind, but not for everyone. When buying headphones, always do research and find the pair that fits your priorities.

I got it largely for piano music. even the higher notes sounded sweet and real. i didn't feel like vocals sounded completely life like, but good, and I doubt I'll find better at this price range

It is an excellent headphone. only the jack that 3.5mm wire goes in a little loose can't move around sound gets cut off. Also now a days almost all electronic devices are maid for 3.5 mm jacks not larger
