My dentist, my dental hygienist, and I all noticed a significant improvement in my teeth after I switched from a manual toothbrush to Sonicare, recommended by my hygienist. At age 70, I was reluctant to buy some newfangled gizmo--hah!--but now I recommend it to anybody who will listen.
I now have two Phillips Sonicare tooth brushes, the older one is a model e which we have had for 8-10 years and it works as well today as it did the day we purchased it. I am plagued with plaque and my hygienist recommended a more aggressive tooth brush so I purchased the Sonicare Series 2 plaque control model. At first it did not seem to operate with the degree of power I expected and I called Sonicare Customer Service and was instructed on how to improve the power of the machine. Now it provides a through job of cleaning my teeth. I am very satisfied with both Phillips Sonicare machines and highly recommend them to everyone.
I feel my teeth are cleaner, whiter, and healthier. It's actually fun to use my Sonicare toothbrush. I feel I'm giving my teeth the best care possible, and as a person over 65, that's important! My dad always said, "Be true to your teeth or they'll be false to you!"
My husband has the black one and I chose the blue so when traveling we would know who's was who's. We didn't need the easy start, since we had e series before. I actually like quadpacer. Didn't think I would. Handle is lighter in weight, which I like. I would like the larger brush head to have come with it. I have a small mouth but I am used to larger brush head. This is easier to switch heads, and no cleaning the inside of handle. That was gross!
I bought two of these as Christmas presents for my boyfriend and myself. My dental hygienist (and my dad - user of Sonicare brand since the 90s) finally convinced me to purchase one. Needless to say, I love it! I look forward to using it (several times a day). The price point was perfect as well. It even had a $10 instant rebate. Cannot beat that! The replacement heads are only about $25 for an entire year if you replace every 3 months. Hands down, great deal for better health.
The product is exceptional! Why? Because when brushing one's teeth, it stops after its use for a minute or more instead of going on "endlessly" like "Braun's Oral B" toothbrush #one has to awkwardly press a button to stop it on the handle and this is annoying!#. It is efficient in cleaning one's teeth and it tells YOU that you are doing well and stops at the proper time. I have been a member of the "Sonicare Club" for years and will continue until I leave where I don't have to worry about brushing my teeth.
I recently switched my Dentist along with a new hygienist. They both recommended I purchase the Sonicare tool to make sure I was getting into the spaces where an old style tooth brush just couldn't reach. I am so pleased with this new tool that I've added to my arsenal to prevent tooth decay. My teeth now feel as clean every day as they do when I step out of the Dentist's office.
A couple of years ago I needed to replace my Sonicare and purchased an Oral B. Used their product for approximately 2 years and never truly liked the way it worked. It did an adequate job of cleaning, but I decided to pass that down to another family member and purchase a new Sonicare. Glad to be back. Just feels like this product produces a better feeling and more importantly, a better cleaning. This is not a scientific review, just a user that is glad to be back with Sonicare.
I thought about getting one of these for so long. Then my dental checkup wasnt a great one. I got this brush and my troubles are gone. My teeth are whiter and healthier. I wish I had bought this a whole lot sooner. I'm never going to be without one, ever again
Im a dental hygienist who recommends the sonicare to EVERY PATIENT I have....I thought all the models were basically the same except for the different speeds....WRONG.....this model felt like it hardly vibrated and didn't clean....there is NO comparison to the diamond clean model....not sure why ya'll would do any other model...
