Philips Sonicare 4100 Power Toothbrush, Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush with Pressure Sensor, Black (HX3681/24)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this toothbrush as a replacement for a 4200 series brush that had quit working. I don't recommend it. it's a cheaply made product which charges via USB. No charger included. It literally has half the power of the 4200 model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third Norelco Sonic toothbrush I have owend. After many years of good service, the other two batteries finally wore out. The 4100 series is, of course, an advanced version of the ones I used befrore and has been performing even better. I am very pleased with this purchase and expect better dental reports as it has been over 5 years since the previous one finally would not accept a battery charge - the batteries are not replaceable (sealed). While the Owner's Manual states that you can leave the brush on the charger, I had done that with the first two and I think that is why the batteries eventually built up a resistance to continued charging. This one is allowed to sit on the counter (flat bottom is stable and the brush air dries). On the first charge, I got 3 weeks of daily use before it indicated a need for a recharge.

I never realized how hard I was pushing on my gums. The dentist recommended this toothbrush and they are correct. I will not go back. Only issue is the battery on mine does not last super long.

My hygienist says I don't need all of the fancy features on the more expensive models, plus my last button on my Sonic handled two years of use, so more buttons and features aren't what I am looking for. I went to my dentist yesterday and he said that whatever I am doing for mouth health I should continue doing. I have been using Sonic electric toothbrushes for twenty years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great product I have tried the other brands this one vibrates at a sonic speed, it's slim, it has no ridges on the handle that traps toothpaste and crud, and the battery last almost a week without having to constantly put back on the charger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This purchase is an upgrade to an older model I've used for over a decade. What an improvement. It's lightweight, has different speeds and a thirty second timer to change positions. I particularly love that the replacement head is far smaller, hence less wasteful. Love it!
