The return-on-investment (ROI) for the premium market price for thePhilips Sonicare DiamondClean Sonic electric toothbrush is definitely worth the investment. Using the Sonicare with a top-shelf whiting dental paste has noticeably removed the tinted shade and made my teeth brighter. Additionally, the power of the Sonicare deeply cleans my gums, my tongue, and the back of my teeth. I am impressed with the quality of the product and the dental results from using the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Sonic electric toothbrush. I purchased this Sonicare at full retail cost, therefore, I am not being compensated for this product.
sleek, looks nice, elegant, but not as easy to use as the FlexCare models. Battery life is shorter than the Flexcaremodels by about 1 week The vibration is also noticeably tame compared to the flexure models Still works great after all this time
This is the best investment I have ever made in my oral care. Quality and easy to use. Don't let the price scare you away. This electric toothbrush in my opinion is the best on the market. I have used several other sonic toothbrushes but none performed as well as this one.
Love the new design of the handles, it' much slimmer and easy to handle. Also love the brushes that came with this package. It leaves my teeth feeling squeaky clean. Love the Gumcare and Whitening options on this toothbrush. Great toothbrush for less dental work!
I find the information, either included in packaging or online, relative to the product: mode choices (individually or sequenced), brush heads etc. to be lacking or at best incomplete to fully understand the use and scope of use to this product. With that said I generally like the product but would enjoy it more if I knew/understood more about the modes/functions and brush heads (3 included with rechargeable base).
I've owned all generations of the Sonicare. The one the Diamond was to replace was the Flexcare. I found the use of the settings on the Flexcare, to be superior. The Diamond HX9392 only has a single button that does everything. I found setting it to deep clean, is problematic. First, you must have the brush in your mouth before turning on. Then you must push the button 4 - 5 times, super fast, to get it to the setting you want. NOT very practical. Keep in mind, all with the tooth brush in your mouth. Two buttons are a must. The square shape works quite well. It also helps as a no-slip device. The power is on pare with the Flexcare. The new brushes seem to clean better then the last generation. Also, the single button, on my HX9392 has gotten hung up in the down position. This, I hope isn't a reacquiring problem. I feel that more Beta testing should have been done.
This is my third Sonicare toothbrush. It looks great, and, when fully charged works great! The only issue that I have (and it is kind of a big issue) is how long it stays charged. I have to charge it every one to two days. The charge indicator light seems like it is constantly blinking. When I first take it off of the charger, it is very powerful and works wonderfully, but, by the next day I can really tell that the toothbrush is not as effective. My other sonicare toothbrushes would stay charged for a week with no problems, so I am a bit disappointed in the DiamondClean. I would still recommend buying a Sonicare, I am hoping that I just got a bad one.
I had to have this toothbrush replaced two times which means I had a total of three. They never lasted longer than 2 weeks. I can't imagine what I could have been doing wrong that would make them stop working. They sat in the base on the bathroom counter. I have another brand which cost about a third of the price of this one and I have never had a problem with it. As I stated in my summary, I was very pleased with the results when it worked. So disappointed. I can honestly say I would strongly discourage anyone from purchasing this product. I could understand maybe replacing it once or after having it a long period of time.
I have been using less than 4 months and am having a problem turning on. Very frustrating. I buy a new Sonicare about every 12 to 18 months and am hoping I can find an effective one that can last a reasonable period of time.
This was my second Phillips Sonic-Care Toothbrush purchased for me in addition to buying one for my daughter when she started college. I made the purchase through my dentist office despite my original still working well because this model has gum care & deep clean setting. Unfortunately it hasn't lived up to the quality of my first one (it is still working 100% after 4 years) while new one doesn't hold a charge or maintain adequate power like one with stand (this one has cup) I am extremely disappointed in the quality & design (who thought to have settings where you can see them when too easy to change while in use)
