I love this tooth brush more than words can say. In less than 2 weeks I could see that my teeth were witter and they felt so clean after every brushing. I have since gone ahead adn both 2 more so I have one is every bathroom in the house. I think they will also make a huge hit under the tree this year so I will be buying a few for other famioy members.

This is Phillips Sonicare’s latest electric toothbrush. This is the 5 series heathy white + removes stains. Main features include 3 intensity settings, clean & white modes, 30 second quadrant timer, 2 minute shut off timer, angled brush head, charging base, hygienic travel cap and a hard side travel case. The Phillips Sonicare will leave your mouth and teeth feeling the same way after using as when your dental hygienist cleans your teeth with an ultrasonic scaler. The 31,000 strokes per minute that it produces will vibrate your teeth and gums all the way down to your jawbone. It’s like a daily massage inside of your mouth. The intensity settings are great! Setting #1 is soft enough to clean your gums and tongue without causing any bleeding. Setting #2 is good for cleaning the sides of your teeth. Setting #3 is good for cleaning the chewing surfaces of your teeth. The white mode is for removing stains from your teeth and it is super intense. If you have never used a Sonicare toothbrush there will be a period of time required for you to get used to it. So Phillips added a special easy start feature that gently increases power over the first 14 times that you use it. There are lights to indicate which intensity level you are using, which brushing mode you are in and what the status of the battery charge is. You can keep the Phillips Sonicare on the charger at all times when not in use. It will not over charge the battery. In addition if you are visually impaired you can activate the charger confirmation feature which makes the Sonicare beep and vibrate briefly when placed correctly on the charger base. This Sonicare model is more expensive than most electric toothbrushes but, when you take into account how it cleans your teeth and the features it has built in it becomes a good value purchase.

After having my old sonic care toothbrush for several years I finally got this new Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite toothbrush. It is much lighter than my older model and has a smaller diameter handle. I really appreciate the feel of the handle as it makes manipulating the brush head much easier. It has the same timed response for brushing the four quadrants of my teeth making it easy to time the brushing. It also has an additional white switch to move to a whitening brush mode. At first I was skeptical but after using the brush for about 2 weeks I can definitely see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth. The brush is smaller and seems to be a little stiffer than the brush heads I previously had with my old toothbrush. It seems to be easier to reach and use when brushing the back molars. The charge base has a small footprint and the charge in the brush last for several uses after being off of the base. Overall, this Sonicare brush is very easy to use and is an effective, efficient toothbrush. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a sonic toothbrush.

The bristle action had almost a dental tool feeling. A bit stiff and sharp feeling. Felt almost like a dental drill! I then realized there is an option to use, the Easy Start feature. It gently increases power over the first 14 brushings to help you get used to brushing with this device. Very easy to activate by placing the brush on the stand and pressing on the start button for 2 seconds/beep sounds when activated. This has helped me immensely! I recommend you start with this feature to get used to the power and intensity this brush delivers. My teeth feel great and are amazingly clean after each brushing. They are polished and feel and look cleaner than when my dental hygienist cleans them! This is an amazing toothbrush. I have been using it for a week and can see less stain on my teeth. The Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite+ 5 series toothbrush is an excellent product that I would recommend to anyone. I brush my teeth twice a day, and therefore use it quite a bit so I expect to have to charge it quite often which can sometimes be annoying. The battery lasts for over three weeks! Now that's convenient. It has many useful features that can give you better results. For example, it has a built in automatic timer that vibrates every certain amount of time while you are using the brush. This allows you to switch from quadrant to quadrant after the amount of time passes. This creates a better cleaning that focuses on each quadrant of teeth equally. There are three intensity settings as well that let you brush with whichever speed or intensity that you prefer. Furthermore, the toothbrush comes with a travel pack so that you can take it anywhere without having to worry about how you want to carry it. I really like the hygienic travel cap, I put that on after every use to keep the brush clean. There are also clean and white settings to choose from which is also quite nice. Overall I am definitely very satisfied with this product and I believe everyone should invest in it. It is definitely worth the price.

Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite+ is a wonderful toothbrush that not only cleans, but whitens bringing your teeth, and gums to their optimum performance. This toothbrush seems to have it all. You can start off by setting the toothbrush for the 2 minute clean default setting time for brushing your teeth, and then once done with brushing your teeth, you can set the toothbrush for the whitening option. This is a very nice option because it allows you to concentrate on areas where coffee or tea stains are; or to spend a little more time where you want to get in between your gums a little better. The toothbrush comes with a Hygenic travel cap, Travel Case, Brush head, Charger, Battery level indicator and Intensity level indicator light. It also comes with a booklet that has pictures, and instructions that are very easy to follow. All instructions were very straight forward. This toothbrush works really well, and makes my mouth feel clean, and massaged, and look whiter. My kids even noticed the difference because I am a heavy coffee drinker so that made me feel really good. I like my Philips Sonicare Healthy White+, and recommend it to anyone looking for an electric toothbrush that can really deliver the goods.

This toothbrush is just incredible!!! I can see why it is dentist recommended and comes with the usual superior quality of all the other Phillips dental products! First of all a real nice feature is the toothbrush comes complete with a travel case so you can take it will you anywhere. It is cordless and as long as it is charged you can put it in your purse or suitcase and go. Everything stays safe and clean in the case and is ready to go anywhere. All you would have to do it pop the brush head onto the handle and your set to go. In the house there is a charging station that is compact and with a cord of ample length,you can make sure your toothbrush is always charged. There are several setting on the handle too so you can set the buttons to perform various duties like starting out slow until your teeth are accustomed to the different setting. You should notice a difference right away!! I sure did!! My teeth feel so clean and fresh and the toothbrush even has a timer so you know how long to brush. In the beginning I decided to let it run 2 cycles to assure my teeth are as clean as they can get. After every brushing I feel as though my teeth are really clean and I expect the hygienist to notice the difference at my next visit. I highly recommend this product for everyone!!!

I have been using the Philips Sonicare HealthyWhite+ Toothbrush for just over two weeks now and I am impressed with many of its features/functions. The handle is easy to grip. The head is soft and doesn't irritate my gums. It operates quietly. There are two modes (clean and white) that you can go back and forth between and you can also select the intensity. My teeth feel great after brushing with this model, and I can actually see a difference in the whiteness of my teeth! (I drink a lot of coffee and tea and they tend to stain my teeth, so this model was a great "fit" for me.) The charging station is small and the toothbrush sits on top of it to charge. This toothbrush comes with a handy travel case that I store it in when it is not charging. I would highly recommend this toothbrush! I was disappointed, however, that my local WalMart did not have the replacement heads in stock. I had to order those on-line. After researching, I found a brand of replacement heads that were less expensive than the diamond head ones that are recommended for (and come with) this model. The replacement heads fit and work just fine, I'm just not sure if I will be able to see the same results with whitening. Nevertheless, this model is superior to many electric toothbrushes that I have used in the past and I would encourage you to try it.

This is my first electric toothbrush. I love the design, as it's not a big space taker and it's easy to hold on to. I have to admit, my teeth are definitely cleaner and feel better since using it. So for all of that - I love it and I'll never go back to manual brushing. The only thing that could be much better are the functions. I still haven't figured out how to do the "whitening" phase on it. Changing from one intensity to another is easy - but the higher intensities are too much. Seems like there should be a smaller change - not so extreme. Because of this, I hesitate to give it 5 stars... I don't deem it as perfect.

I have just purchased my third Philips for myself this year. My first one last around 4 years. Them I purchased a pair, one for my husband which is still working. My one of the pair died just after two years. I purchased my third one for myself this year mainly because I have so many chargers, cleaner, toothbrush heads, cases that can't justify throwing into the landfill. I do like how the brush cleans but would like the brush to not go to a landfill so soon. The two that I have thrown away were in terrific shape and looked like they had many years of wear left on them.
