Time is the best test of any product. This toothbrush fits that. I bought it in 2015, use it twice daily and its still going strong. Now the battery lasts just one brushing so i have to keep it charged all the time.
I got this at least 5 years ago, and it still works very good. This is the best toothbrush I have ever got. Highly recommend.
I had a cheaper electric toothbrush and now I am very satisfied with Sonicare. It has met all of my needs.
Was using oral b for years. This is like getting your teeth cleaned.Very impressed.
The battery lasts long time. I like this product.
Worked fine, but it started turning on by itself and unit flashes amber - had to RMA unit after about 6 months of use.Got a replacement with little hassle.Despite this unit works. It can be loud sometimes.
It's a good electronic toothbrush but def would recommend spending a little extra and get the nicer model. I got the more expensive one and LOVE it!!
I got 3, we thought it was a good deal. 6x better than manual brushing! Others are only 2x!I do not know what the disembodied robo dentures looked like that they did that study on. But I dont think it was tested on actual people. The brush works by vibrating the entire stem. The vibration is intense enough that two of the people I gave one to wont use it (they are a couple and I was hoping if one didnt like the other would). It actually heats up to around 103 degrees from the intensity of the brush strokes. The brush is hard to maneuver in your mouth. Maneuverability is important for a few reasons. 1) the brush does not turn off when you take it out of your mouth and it flings toothpaste 2) it cleans poorly if you do not get to all your teeth 3) the stem is made of hard plastic, the penalty for not being careful with the position of the brush is the jackhammering of hard plastic against your teeth (happens every other day). With practice many of these things can be improved or prevented. But what I really dont like is it does not clean much better than manual. It does not reach the plaque at the gum line or between teeth no matter how I position it. In order to test its effectiveness I tried brushing with it turned off. To my great disappointment I got all the plaque and in less time by brushing manually. The other thing that greatly aggravates me is this is suppose to be a well designed brush yet I vastly improved the design with just a moment of thought. The stem should be padded with silicon to prevent the pain and damage to teeth when it touches them, the silicon padding should form a tongue cleaner on the back of the head. There should be a pressure switch in the base that turns the brush on when the head presses against teeth, and turns off when you press too hard.
Its fine, makes a lot of noise - more so than other similar styles ive had in the past. Not going to return it but wouldnt buy it again.
Product works great when it works. These units keep dying for one reason or another. Philips sent me a replacement and now the replacement is dead. Went through so many sonicare models in recent years and almost all of them are dead or dying.
