Scintillating

InfamousJay7x3 March 26, 2019

This is a great product, it makes me want to always brush my teeth at all times of the day. I love the 2 minute timer, the thorough cleaning, & the battery life. I went nearly 2 months without charging my toothbrush & the battery life was still in the green! I wouldn’t think twice about buying a product by Philips. Let me sponsor you Philips!

Quality toothbrush. I bought this while still owning the same model going strong after 5 years

This product is terrific

Ladyp34 March 12, 2018

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion Design/Size: This toothbrush is close in size to a normal manual toothbrush. It’s easy to hold and maneuver in your mouth. The brush head is a good size. It is smaller than other electronic toothbrushes, but has good shape and a lot of coverage over teeth. The shape allows it to be skinnier at the top and then get wider. The brush head comes with a nice clear cover to keep it protected from germs. Assembly: Assembling the toothbrush was very easy. You just pop the brush head onto the base of the toothbrush and make sure it’s pushed all the way down. If loose, the toothbrush will still operate, but it will be very wobbly until you secure the brush head. Operation: The toothbrush has 4 sets of 30 seconds for a total brushing time of 2 minutes. Every 30 seconds there is a beep that lets you know where you’re at in the brushing process. Operation of this toothbrush is self-explanatory. Stand: This Phillips toothbrush comes with a small stand that recharges it. The size makes it perfectly unobtrusive on your bathroom counter. It can fit into a small corner or against the wall. Overall: I love this toothbrush and would purchase it. Other brushes are large and clunky and hard to handle while brushing your teeth. This one, in my opinion, is the perfect size. I love the 30-minute interval beeps and the auto shut off of the brush.

Overall good product

MariS February 22, 2019

Overall good product. I only use once a day and have to charge every 2 weeks. Thought it would be longer before a recharge. There’s also rust in the metal bottom area. Not sure why.

Great, but an environmental disaster

PeteGSO March 30, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the sixth or seventh Sonicare ElectricToothbrush that we've owned. They clean beautifully, but their biggest problem is disposability, There is no good reason that the batteries can't easily be changed. I would guess that hundreds of thousands have ended up in landfills. The same for Norelco electric razors. They work very well but are an environmental disaster. They both should be designed to easily receive new rechargeable batteries. Shame, shame on Phillips

I love the toothbrush, but dies too soon

Otis's Mom September 5, 2019

I love the Sonicare toothbrush and how clean my teeth feel after using it, however, they need to improve how long they last. In my family, we bought 4 sonicare toothbrushes between 2-3 years ago. 3 of those 4 toothbrushes have stopped working. Those 3 were bought 3 years ago. Let's see if the 4th toothbrush dies at 3 years too. I like them so much I bought replacements, but if they don't last long I'll be looking for another brand. The warranty is 2 years (or 2.5 years if you register the toothbrush). I didn't expect 3 of them to die after the warranty ran out.

Not as good as my last Sonicare product.

Hides September 1, 2019

This one is not as good as my last one. The brush head does not stay on the handle. I'm constantly pushing it back down. The one I had before lasted for many many years. This one seems much "cheaper" than the last.

Not gentle enough for kids with braces

Sing August 26, 2018

This product was recommended by my kids' dentist to ensure the cleanest teeth while they have braces. BUT, it's too painful. There is only one setting and, apparently, it's too aggressive for them. I'm disappointed that I spent our sparse money on this product. I had hoped that they would get used to it, but they have not and my 15 year old will not use it anymore.

It is very painful to brush your teeth with this electrical brush. It doesn't have levels, and the only level that it has is very strong. My dentist suggestions was for me not to use this, it can even remove my fillings.
