Philips Sonicare - ProtectiveClean 5100 - Light Blue

The Sonicare toothbrush line was recommended to me by my dental hygienist many years ago. I and my family have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for over ten years for this reason. The difference between a Sonicare and a manual toothbrush is completely amazing. Our dental health has been improved dramatically in my opinion. This 5100 model works really well, leaving teeth smooth and clean. I selected this model because it has a gum health mode to improve gum condition. I have purchased the Sonicare 4000 series, and it does not clean teeth as well as this 5100 model. To me, the 5100 is definitely worth the extra cost. I have also purchased 9000 series Sonicare toothbrushes, and I do not personally sense any improvement over the 5100. I now have three 5100 toothbrushes for family members in my home. I use the Sonicare C3 brush head for excellent plaque removal. My husband uses the G2 brush head for gum care. The battery life is excellent. I give my very highest recommendation for this Sonicare 5100. I truly consider it an essential product that I would not want to live without.

Philips sonicare Electric toothbrush does a great job.

Love this brush. Forces me to brush longer and more gentle. Audible sound allows brushing all quadrants equally. Now relate my brushing to using an electric sander on a piece of nice wood.

Very good gum care. After two weeks I noticed the difference. I use it twice a day for the timer version. Highly recommend. It was recommended by my dentist. So much better than the water pik brand.

We have been using Sonicare toothbrushes for many years now - they are superb. We chose this model because it plugs into a standard outlet. The only thing we don't like about it is that the handle is plastic and kinda slippery, where as our prior model had a rubberized handle, maybe we will get used to it.
