this is the second one of these kinds of toothbrushes that I've had, I like the way that it cleans my teeth and I like the way my teeth feel when they are done. I haven't been able to get that sort of feeling with any other toothbrush electric or non electric.
This was purchased as a replacement.Don"t know if I pressed the brush too hard against the gums and teeth but it made my gums sore.Am trying to press lighter but the teeth don't feel as clean.Only had it for about a month so I shall see if I can find a solution.
Ive used sonicare products for years, so when my last toothbrush died right after warranty ended, I purchased this one.Problem is with this is the recharger requires a usb wall charger to work.If you dont have one laying around, a package insert says to contact their customer support. When i did that, the option is to purchase a wall charger for $19, plus shipping. If they are making this change solely for "environmental" reasons, they should be ready to provide at no or minimal charge. The price of the product did not drop, and this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Bought this electric brush on the advice of my dentist. It cleans really well, but a year or so of use it appears to be coming apart. The head has loosened considerably and there is a noticeable "whir" during operation that indicates to me it may be coming apart. It's still working for the moment, but I'm not sure for how much longer.Have others had this experience?
I have always owned the more expensive versions of the Sonicare toothbrushes and assumed it would be the same but I was SO wrong. I guess this is Philips trying to offer more affordable brushes but this has lower power than my 4 year old daughters kids Sonicare brush, would have been better off buying that one! Oh well lesson learned, you get what you pay for meh.
Come on Philips, Really! Selling an electric toothbrush that requires the additional purchase of a USB Charger Block. How many consumers know if the rating of the charger blocks in their home matches your specifications. Taking a step further, if their blocks have a higher output than your specs allow, damaging the battery, it would be a reasonable assumption that a Warranty Claim would be Denied! I would also guess you charge $15-$20.00 for a charger block. I say, I guess because I haven't been able to find one on your website that matches my 4100. Why is it you don't advertise the charger block for purchase along with the toothbrush? Philips does have a good performing product its just unfortunate you assume your customers have a properly rated USB Charger Block to ensure a warranty claim would not be denied should a battery failure occur.
These are great toothbrushes white they last, but I bought one in Feb. 2021 and it failed in June. I figured maybe it was a lemon and I got another one. That one just bit the bullet. Both times, something in the motor gave out and it got really loud and then failed. Very disappointed because this was supposed to be a good brand and it isn't cheap!
I was told I would get a free brush head if I registered my product. They lie.Furthermore, their website is insulting and unusable unless you want to set up a subscription with them. There are many alternatives out there and since Philips has taken over sonicare I suggest they are pretty much all equivalent.
The charging base comes with only a USB connector and no adapter to connect it to a wall outlet.A flyer included in the package brags about how much plastic they've thus saved. The same flyer says that if you require an adapter, go to their website. If you do, you'll discover that they will sacrifice their greeny-weeny principles to sell you an adapter for $18.95 !Now who has a USB outlet or their computer or laptop in their bathroom?
Deep clean alright.... one setting and its max speed. I feel like Im brushing my teeth with a saw. I honestly cannot even use the product. You get what you pay for. I will definitely pay more for a new electronic toothbrush that has multiple settings to choose from. This product was not forMe!
