Philips Stereo Boombox, CD Player Black, PX840T

Bought it for the porch by the pool. I has a good volume and bass with no distortion at top volume. I mean it doesn't rattle the windows but it is more than adequate. Easy to use, probably won't use the lights much, but they might look cool at night. I'd buy it again. Walmart beat amazon price by $40.

AM/FM Tuner is very good, the CD works well, and the sound is very good. This thing will crank very loud. The bass boost is good. The "CD" player mode allows repeat one, repeat album, repeat all, shuffle and off. The FM radio tuner delivers sound that rivals a CD and MP3 recordings when the station is broadcasting in stereo. The Bluetooth connected to my phone (Samsung) just fine and Pandora sounds great.,NOTE: your cell phone volume affects the boom box volume. This is definitely a great boombox for the money I definitely recommend this!!!!!!

Bought this boom box to replace an old Bose CD player. I chose this unit because of its ability to connect to Bluetooth and to stream music or podcasts. The sound quality is excellent, and ease of setting it up to connect with devices is excellent.

After I my old cheap CD player died, I went thru 2 others searching for one that didn't sound tinny- including one that bragged that theirs has plenty of bass. It didn't. This one sounds incredible! I love it. I keep it in my garage/ shop to listen to it while doing projects out there. I now look forward to finding projects to do so I can listen to my new boombox.

Hello ,is really Pleasant to have this Philips Boom Box the sound and effects are really good ,the only think I can hear is the head phones.

Got this for my Father and he loves it! Sound quality of stereo is really good. All features work great has Usb, bluetooth, cd

2.5 stars- Good looking radio , but for the sound it has I would have paid 60$ For it . Its medium small size and light weight, so its good to take to places but for my back yard I got something stronger.

Poor sound and CD Player did not play, tried 5 cds and kept flashing no cd . Radio kept breaking up and hissing. Save yourself time and money. Returned to Walmart the next day. Would have given 0 stars if available

Ruined my sons Christmas!! The item was used and had been returned. CD player didn't work.
