You have to search wide for a high CRI (color accuracy) led bulb that DOESN'T flicker nowadays. Otherwise, headaches, eyestrain. These show no signs of flickering when filmed up to 1/4000th second in manual video mode! The high CRI of 95 also eliminates much of the puke colors you see when objects are lit under led lighting. Low cri bulbs have this problem, especially with yellows, greens, reds. Definitely worth swapping out all the bulbs in my house with Philips (the high cri, eyecomfort line up).
item is what I was looking for at a good price
I purchased these hoping they weren't as bright as the ones I have. These bulbs are perfect, soft light not too led bright.
These lights have a beautiful color, they appear just like an incandescent lightbulb with no weird hues. They absolutely do NOT flicker, which is also amazing (I tried GE LED bulbs and they flickered all the time for me). Dimming works flawlessly and smoothly. In addition there is a subtle yet cool feature which makes the color slightly warmer if you dim the bulbs, which approximates what happens with incandescent bulbs. It's not overwhelming but it is nice.
Will never order again. Didn't even work
