These bulbs are worth every penny! I have lighting fixtures in my kitchen and I have used incandescent bulbs since forever, but they darken over time and eventually blow out, and they're getting harder and harder to find. I tried buying LED R12 bulbs like these in Home Depot but bought the standard brand "Ecosmart" -- 3 bulbs for $5. They were awful! Flickered and had terrible color temperature. After doing research online I tried to find these Philips "Flicker-Free" dimmable, with high CRI of 94 (they call it "Ultra Definition") at several stores but saw them on Walmart.com. They came in 3 days and they work BEAUTIFULLY!! No flicker, they dim nicely, very bright at full output (brighter than 40W incandescents) and have a beautiful bright, true color that has no obvious hue / cast. BUY THEM NOW!! I need to get more for my other fixtures!
I used these in my ceiling fan and they worked perfectly. Remember to not touch the bulbs with your bare hands. They were actually brighter than my regular bulbs! I'm excited and hopeful they can help lower electricity costs.
Great dimmable lights. Purchased them for a new chandelier that my husband installed in our room. They give off a nice soft glow.

Love these stress-reducing, non flickering bulbs. Anti eye strain. Nice color. Wish they had one that was a bit warmer.
I never received it. It looks like they delivered it on the wrong house. And I tried contacting them 3 times but no help.
