My husband bought these and I didn't expect it to be a big difference, but it really is a huge improvement! We normally buy whatever generic brand, but the lighting always looked off. With these the colors look so much better and there is so much less flickering. They are supposed to last longer then the cheaper brands but we haven't had them long enough to know for sure yet. But these are definitely easier on the eyes.
These bulbs (and all Phillips Ultra Definition bulbs) are an affordable option I found in an independent testing of authentic full spectrum light bulbs, and with little to no invisible flicker. Why is this important? Indoor artificial lighting can affect our biology in negative ways. Authentic full spectrum bulbs are closest to natural outdoor light. Research in schools found improved learning and behavior with authentic full spectrum bulbs compared with standard fluorescent bulbs. Other research found improved physical and mental health issues compared with standard bulbs. Some LED bulbs claim to be full spectrum but are not. Incandescent bulbs are full spectrum, however my incandescents flicker... to check for invisible flicker, just video your light bulbs on slo-mo to check. Invisible flicker is a central nervous system irritant for some people (may contribute to headaches in some people or other negative effects). All that said, lighting is only one of many things that can contribute to better health and wellbeing.... eating real, unprocessed food, frequent physical movement, better sleep, anything that soothes or relaxes, being with people you feel good around, spending more time outdoors, etc. The Independent test article I read: *The 11 Best Full Spectrum Light Bulbs: A Buyers Guide* GOOD BOOKS *Light - Medicine of the Future* Jacob Liberman, PhD *Good Energy* Casey Means, MD *Brain Energy* Christopher Palmer, MD NOTE Wallmart please correct the description of these bulbs... One star reviewers, you can't get 16 bulbs for this price, this is a 4 bulb pack.
These are fantastic led light bulbs with a very pleasing hue. Phillips Ultra Definition light bulbs are long lasting and durable.
Perfect led lighting 60wt LEFT
We needed new bulbs for our dimmable fan and these were perfect. Nice and bright!
Should have purchased somewhere else, walmart charged $6.99 for delivery. Defeats the purpose of low cost for item.
I ordered a 16-pack, but only a 4-pack arrived.
My fiancé was Waiting at the door for the delivery person to bing my item to the porch. Instead he just threw the package form about 25 feet away onto the porch. The item were light bulbs in a plastic bag and had no protection at all. Needless to say all I have are 4 bulbs that are now crushed glass. I expect a replace ment or full refund to my credit card.
I ordered 2x 16 packs of lightbulbs and I received 2x 4 packs of lightbulbs. Called Walmart they sent replacements guaranteed they'd be the right two boxes of 16 bulbs and I received 2 boxes of 4 bulbs. Wasted another half an hour on the phone and now instead of my light bulbs they're issuing me a refund and for me to re-order lightbulbs . With a promise that they would get it right this time . so two days go by no email no refund no nothing so I called again this morning and whoever I spoke to said they never even initiated the refund when I talk to them last. I bet I will be calling them again in three days because I get two boxes of for lightbulbs just like the first time and the replacement time. oh and who ships lightbulbs in a bubble envelope I'm surprised that they didn't all get broken.
All they sent me was a four pack, not a 16 pack
