product is great for seafood stuffing and crab cakes unfortunately the can I received was dented and had some type of substance coming from the top so I had to discard it however that's not of the products fault simply the best crib meat in my opinion and worth the money
I have never tasted a crab this good out of a can pricey or not. This is the closest to the Shores of where they're caught. Don't miss out on the taste of a true plant i have never tasted a crab this good out of a can pricey or not. This is the closest to the Shores of where they're caught. Don't miss out on the taste of a true lump clam!!!!!
Yes, of course its pricey but, if you can get past that financial hurdle...it is absolutely delicious and extremely consistant from can to can. We've used this canned crab for years and definitely recommend you give it a try. (a least once)
I JUST LOVE THIS CRAB MEAT IT IS THE ONE I ALWAYS BUY AND I LOVE WHEN THEY PUT IT ON SALE. TASTE IS ALWAYS GREAT AND DEFINITELY IT IS ALL CRAB MEAT, NO FILLERS WHATSOEVER.
I have purchased this several times and found it to excellent. Living in Upstate New York this is really tbe only way for a native of Maryland to have a taste od home.
Used to make crab %26 shrimp bisque. Flavor is delicious and texture is great in a soup or crab cakes!
Excellent canned product, expensive for it's size. Fresh is still preferred but this is a great shelf-stabile alternative.
Lump crab was slightly dry and not as flavorful as others I have used. But by mixing the crab with a robust mayo mixture, the crab cakes turned out great.
This crabmeat was horrible I don't know it just tasted like the can it was in not that fresh taste of crabmeat! I won't buy this again and ended up making a quiche and throwing the whole thing out after my stomach felt queezy after eating it. The lump meat in the plastic container is better but even that one by Phillips has changed in the quality. I love crabmeat but I might just have to stick to getting it at a restaurant when I dine out
Was excited to make crab cakes after reading reviews on quality. The crab was chunky but the smell of the claims was like rotten trash. It was so bad I couldn't get myself to even cook them I didn't want the house to smell that bad. I threw them out.
