So this phone case is supposed to be able to protect your phone from a 9-ft drop, it also says that because it protects it from extreme temperatures. it extends the battery life four times. I bought it because at the beach my phone overheats, and this can be placed in the direct sunlight and still not have my phone overheat. Also, it's pretty good looking!

The quilted metallic gold exterior got my attention, but I soon discovered there is considerably more engineering in this phone sleeve besides mere aesthetics. The case is designed to protect a phone from both heat AND cold, helping prevent overheating in hot conditions and preserving battery life in cold weather (that's a heavy lift). Phoozy states that its thermal technology can extend battery life by up to 4X in cold conditions. It is also water-resistant and designed to float if dropped in water, which would make it particularly useful around pools, boats or the beach. Drop protection is rated for falls of up to a staggering 9 feet. Another interesting feature is the integrated Agion antimicrobial technology. The case is treated to inhibit microbial growth, a huge bonus for something that gets handled frequently. The construction feels substantial. The quilted exterior provides cushioning, the opening makes it easy to slide a phone in and out, and the attached metal ring facilitates carrying. I also appreciate that all of this protection is completely passive. There is nothing to charge, connect or operate. I ordered the Large size, and found the size just right for my phone. Between the heat protection, cold protection, battery-life preservation, water resistance, flotation, 9-foot drop protection and antimicrobial treatment, this is an unusually versatile little piece of protective gear. Very pleased with the design, color, quality and functionality. My phone has a home!

I got this mainly to use in my traditional sauna. Temps of 140 to 150 and above, plus the humidity, are of course too much for a cell phone. But I listen to music in there and like to be able to control the music without having to open the door and go out. This is the answer. The phone stays cool and I have it nearby. I just slip it out, make whatever change I need to do, and slip it back in. Works great!

Does a pretty good job of not letting your iPhone overheat in the sun. While sunbathing outside which is exactly why I got this. Plus it's cushioned too to protect the phone

This is way too big as a cell phone case. The gold makes it look cheap in my opinion. I am able to use to hold my extra pair of glasses in car. It reminds me of a flamboyant gold clutch purse from the 80's. It may work for others but personally I wouldn't recommend
