The bugs drew right to the flame and zapped. It is a large size. Very aesthetically pleasing. The only downside the cable is short about 2 feet. It is plug in only, no batteries.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bug zapper a week before the cold weather in Florida. However, I did get to test it out in the backyard. We usually have a lot of flies, gnats, and mosquitoes, even in the winter! But when I turned this lantern on, I heard a loud crackling sound, and it seemed to be killing those little biting gnats! They are barely noticeable, but they leave red and itchy bites. I usually couldn't spend much time in the yard because I was constantly scratching myself. But I could be around when the light was on and not get bitten. However, I didn't see any flies coming to the back door. Maybe it was the crackling sound or the color of the light that scared them. I'll find out in the spring. Overall, the product works great and looks incredibly beautiful! It looks very stylish in both the light and the dark. It provides a little extra light. The plastic and all other parts made well. High quality product. The only con is that it needs an outlet. Also the plug is so short. I wish to use it for camping, and it would be great if it also worked on batteries. Otherwise, I am happy with the product! I highly recommend it.

And the most important… has worked so good eliminating insects . Have a 2 acre coverage and don't make any sound. I have spend more nights outdoor with this lantern. The battery is long lasting… so overall a pretty good product.

It's very pretty and has a nice flickering fire like light to it, but there is one bug on it in a month

It only works from dust to dawn, can't change. I need one that works all days long. Bugs are out hours before dust.
