[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent insect killer lantern! The design is portable and modern. This solar powered lantern charges quickly under direct sunlight and provides more than six hours of use without needing the charge. The bug zapper was a very cool flame effect while working nonstop to minimize insects from my back yard. This lanterns zaps bugs on contact, thanks to its high voltage and attractive lighting design. The design is rugged and weather proof as well. I use this around the house and so far this has worked nicely. I recommend this lantern to others based on performance and effectiveness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice combo of light and bug control. The lantern looks great, and it's super portable. Works best with full sun and in smaller areas. Doesn't kill all insects, but good for light use and does keep some bugs away.

Love them but would rather them come on automatically

The solar unit is fully operational but these bug zappers are just decoration. Not worth the money

These things don't seem to actually do anything, and the light stays on for a few minutes at most. Most of the reviews seem to be from people who received the product for free or were otherwise compensated for their time. Not worth the money.

The flicker and white lights don't work on either one of them. Only the blue lights come on. Can not return them as I am not able to take them to any Walmart store. Ordered them on line.

Doesn't do anything for flies or mosquitos. They are great solar lanterns but that is it. I've had them 2 weeks and use both daily, no dead bugs yet and we have tons of flying bugs in the air. I've tried both flame options on both units. Both are equally bad for killing flies and mosquitos. I tried another brand bug zapper in the same location and it did kill a lot of flies, but this doesn't. Waste of money.
