This is a really cute set of magnetic tiles, very good quality, sturdy with good paint, and I got a great price under half of what it is priced now. We have regular magnatiles, but these are nice because they have designs on both the inside and outside of the gingerbread house, even the floor has a rug, etc, although there are a limited number of ways to make a gingerbread house with these that keeps both sides matching, and that makes the kids interested again. I like that this is a holiday themed activity that doesn't require any set up or clean-up from me and lets them be creative. We didn't use the stickers yet, but maybe next year. My 2 and 8 year old both played with these, mostly the 2 year old though. My 8 year old helped the 2 year old set it up once and then wasn't as interested, but 2 yo wanted to play with these every day. It's probably best for 3-6 year olds that are more into pretend play. Also, it is only rated for 3 so I put away tiles that were smaller, like the grass and some of the rocks, because swallowing magnets is really dangerous and 2 year olds put everything in their mouths. Most of the tiles are very large though, and we only have these out with an adult supervising to be sure there aren't loose magnets and that they aren't put in the mouth, so we feel it is fine for our younger child to play with supervised. Box is slim and sturdy, so is easy to store with our Christmas stuff and get it out next year. This should last for as long as my kids want to play with it and then a lot longer.
Great haunted house themed magna tiles. Love that tiles have spooky images printed on both sides. Nice inclusion of costumed trick-or-treaters. Please manufacture more variations of spooky sets and other themed sets!
So glad Walmart offered at an affordable price. Love Picasso magnetic tiles, great for all ages but, usually can't afford. This gingerbread house was a special price. It has 45 pieces. The more expensive version had 1 more piece. These tiles are sturdy, durable, and magnetic. You can take apart and build in many different ways, just use your imagination or provided suggestions. They come in a sturdy box where you can store them when not in use. You can use with other sets. This is our 1 st set with magnetic characters, reusable stickers and “painted” tiles. Our 9 year old granddaughter had a great time building it with her grandpa. Can be used alone or with someone else. No batteries needed.
Kids loved these! So awesome!
It's a great toy- just a little bit expensive.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this kit, and my grandson had the most fun playing with it. It's cute and can double as a Christmas decoration. The magnetic tiles can mix and match with other sets for creative play. The pieces are tough and safe for our young users. We are very happy with this.
will buy mote next year
Our grandson LOVES these magnetic blocks! And apparently, he had something like these at his school last year; so he was delighted when these arrived
fun megnetic tiles with a theme! i do wish they were double sided but otherwise they are very cute and strong magnetic
This was a big disappointment. The tiles were cute, but there were no instructions and it appeared almost impossible to produce the cottage in the photos. Very expensive for the product. Do not recommend.
