He loves building, but I don't think he's ready for the smaller ones just yet, so these are the perfect size. This set comes in 150 different sizes, shapes, and bright colors. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know this Picasso tiles building blocks toy is one of my grandkids favorites, at any age, although I think it helps younger ones with developing skills on how things go together! My youngest grandkids are 10, and 8, and they build things both together and on their own. The bricks are actually a little larger then Legos, so these would be easier for younger ages to be able to put together easily. The pieces are well made as well, so parents and grandparents will find this a great plus!
