Pick Your Level: Weight Loss Pilates (DVD)

This is a great simple dvd to follow and very, very relaxing. Ellen Barret is a great instructor and gives a good workout. I have several pilates by her including the very hard to find crunch:slimdown pilates which is Super! She does not disaptt and is very energetic and soothing. I tried this on Netflix, then got rid of Netflix and I really missed it. You really can pick your level, just doing what you can and still get in good stretching and a workout. This is not high impact or intense cardio. No super fast paces or crazy positions. You will not want to hurt the instructor by the end of the video! You will feel like you've worked out and you can do it again. Improve self esteem and health in one shot.

I love this DVD because you can mix and match levels. I use it when I need a break from step aerobics and strength training. A great little workout when you are short on time, or you want to work out without a lot of jumping around.

I absolutely love this Pilates DVD. I have really noticed a difference in my balance and muscle tone, not to mention my overall frame of mind and stress level. Best thing under $10. Worth every penny!

I did this program on my Netflix instant I loved it so I went and bought it for the times I might not be at home or if I ever decide to get rid of Netflix.. Ive been dieting for a few weeks now and doing cardio along with pilates and my results have been great I feel stronger and I owe alot of it to this DVD.

While the content of the disc is amazing (I had before and couldn't find so ordered a new one), the disc I received was damaged. I was worried about the return process since it was a third party seller, but Walmart easily accepted the return and I received my refund the same day.

I wasn't a huge fan of this Pilates workout, the workout seemed to go on forever, I couldn't tell when one segment of the workout ended and the next one started. Also the workout was very repetitive, in that you would do a set of distinct set of pilates moves and then return to them again not to long later which I didn't like. It did get my heart rate up, but the workout wasn't something I looked foward to doing in comparison to other pilates worksouts. It was a little on the boring side and I couldn't wait for it to be over and usually i love feeling the benefits of doing pilates. I personally don't think i would have any weightloss benefits with this workout because I wouldn't want to do this workout very often.
