Pictsweet vegetables are so tasty! This frozen okra is like fixing fresh only without all the work!! No washing, cutting or breading! Just heat your iron skillet with some vegetable oil ‘til it's nice and hot then add your okra! Keep turning the okra as it gets brown and all cooked to your liking. Or once it all gets a little brown, you can slide the hot skillet into a nice hot oven to finish cooking alongside your meatloaf or whatever. Yummy!!
I have no dislike i really enjoyed my breaded okra toss in sunflower and olive oil lightly seasoned with Cajun seasoning and fried in a toaster oven and served with 2 sliced of great value whole wheat bread and some hot sauce
The breading stays on. Same price as the raw without breading. I bake them with a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil on a cookie sheet. So easy and DELICIOUS!
Don't cook these in an airfryer. That will ruin them. Put them in the fry daddy and cook them to a golden brown. Almost like you picked them from the garden that day!
Tried %26 True, Best ever fried okra ever. Perfect every time. Cook in cast iron skillet with oil of your choice. *After several reviews i read, don't try in air frier, they said the crust comes off.
Fried okra is a treat. This product makes it effort free. Already breaded and no need to thaw. Pour it directly into the heated skillet with some canola oil and you have the makings for a great sor.uthern dinne
I love fried okra and was glad to see a large bag like this for sale. And generally it seems like a good product. But I docked it one star because I'm guessing a lot of people reading this would like to use it in the air fryer and this product is not very good for that. I can do it, but it doesn't come out as well browned as I like and if you're not careful it can come out a bit gummy. Still edible, just not the way it should be and the way some other frozen breaded okra products are. I haven't tried it in a deep fryer and I bet it would be good that way, nor have I tried it in a skiller (I have hyperactive smoke detectors). I'd love to be able to use it in the air fryer and I can, it's just not the best done that way.
Yummy breaded okra, But Quality control lets a few stems to remain on some of the pieces. I always deep fry!
This okra was way too spicy. It must have been coated in black pepper. I cooked it in the air fryer; I'm so glad that I didn't mess up an iron skillet frying the okra. I threw out the okra.
The bag evidently had a hole in it; there was freezer burn, frost, and all the pieces of okra looked as if freezer burned. I am quite surprised that the shopper did not discard this item in stead of sending it to me, a long time customer. It was refunded, but it never should have been sent out.
