Better for short people
I had someone assemble this reformer because it was too heavy for me to lift. But assembly was easy. Doublecheck the measurements of the machine to make sure it will accommodate your frame. I'm 5' 0” with a short torso so this machine is perfect for me but might not be comfortable for someone much taller. Also I agree with the person who said the shoulder blocks are uncomfortable (but not horrible). I took reformer Pilates for a year at a studio but my class was cancelled due to poor attendance. Rather than try another studio I bought this reformer and am very pleased. At the sale price it was less than 8 classes at the studio. I'm 71 yo in case that makes a difference.

bigger than i thought but otherwise a great machine for at home use. look up videos on youtube there's a instructor on there w the same machine

great for home use, high quality and easy to assemble and use. Would not hesitate to buy this for strength and agility for any age

Excellent home reformer!
I did a lot of research before making this purchase and this product has proven to be a good value. It was delivered sooner than expected. Opening the box was the hardest part of the setup. The instructions are not detailed, but are easy enough to understand. Took less than 30 minutes to setup. The machine is quiet and very smooth. The bungee cords provide good resistance and a variety of intensity. The machine might be a bit short for a taller person, but it worked well for me at 5'1. The listing says black, but I received the grey which was a happy surprise. The pictures in the listing are an accurate overview of the product. Overall I really love this reformer! It's made exercising so much more accessible.
