These cinnamon rolls are smaller and not as sweet as I remember from childhood, and they lack that smooth, rich consistency that only real fats used to give. But the moment I taste them, I'm transported back to those holiday mornings in my grandmother's kitchen. The flavor is 100% faithful to what I grew up with—every bite feels like waking up to those special occasions all over again. Even if my nostalgia might remember them as bigger or better, these rolls capture the essence perfectly, and they'll take you right back to your own childhood memories.
These are the BEST cinnamon rolls, except for making them Homemade at home which are better, but these fill the void if you are looking for less intensive work and a quick fix. Always my go too when I'm not feelin up mixing, kneading and prepping to make them homemade.
Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make option for a sweet breakfast or snack. My nephews were visiting for a holiday weekend. One of them requested these and I forgot how good they are! They bake up soft and fluffy with a warm cinnamon swirl and a creamy icing that melts perfectly on top. Great for satisfying a craving with minimal effort.
Delicious when baked according to the package directions, but I have a new recipe I want to try using the crockpot: Cinnamon rolls on bottom, cover with can of apple pie filling, and then more cinnamon rolls on top, spread icing over plate of rolls and apples. Sounds positively gooey, decadent, and delicious for part of New Year's Day brunch !!!
I love Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with the Original Icing. Served hot out of the oven, they are flaky and delicious. I find that they are moist and the icing tastes wonderful when it melts and spreads over a hot cinnamon roll. One of my favorite ways to make these is to unroll them and then roll two of them back together so I get 4 large cinnamon rolls instead of 8 smaller ones. I usually bake them for an extra five minutes when I do this and my family thinks they are homemade!
I prefer the regular icing, but these ones don't pop up like a normal cinnamon roll; it's a puck with no layers. I got the buttercream-frosted ones, and they do pop up with layers and taste better, but I still prefer the regular icing. Which means spending more for the Grands or sticking with the Buttercream.
These are basically very small biscuits. bland, flour taste. Cinnamon is undetected. The frosting is barely enough for 2 "biscuits". unless you put a rain drop size on each one. we barely touched them. They were awful %26 Pillsbury should be ashamed of calling these " Cinnamon rolls." Any other Cinnamon roll out there is better than these.
terrible taste they're supposed to be cinnamon rolls there's not cinnamon except a little bit on one half of it and they're they're like a an old biscuit there's no cinnamon inside they're not a roll anymore taste is terrible and I have bought those Pillsbury cinnamon rolls the good ones that were twirled up but these are not 12 these are all one big piece with little bit of cinnamon and something all they are something on the one side of them will never buy again
These aren't rolls that look anything like the picture on the package, which appears to be a picture of actual rolled dough. These are round pieces of dough much like a biscuit with some butter cinnamon flecks on one side. They don't taste like a good cinnamon roll either, just a biscuit with a little cinnamon and sweet icing. They left a greasy coating in our mouths that we don't get from Great Value or Best Choice (or homemade). These at least used to be actual rolls that tasted fine, but not anymore. I only got this because the Great Value generic cinnamon rolls in the tube were out, so they substituted this. I will remove that option in the future because these were such a waste of money.
Had too get this because the chocolate rolls were out of stock it's either the orange rolls are out of stock of the chocolate rolls i would never get this they don't even rise right thr look like biscuits when they are done instead of looking like they are supposed too like rolls they are disappointing
