I used these to make two loaves of bread and they were amazing! I just added some olive oil and garlic salt/seasonings on one and used butter and parm cheese on the second and they were equally good. The top had a pleasant crispiness and the bread was so fluffy. My daughter said they tasted like the biscuits at Red Lobster.
I love to get those because in the morning I can wrap little sausages roll them up cook them. You can have them with your coffee and it gives you a little something to get you through until lunch. I wrap berries blackberries, and then I make my own little frosting on top. They are very good for a lot of things. I made them with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni like I said easy little snack great idea.
I love these rolls! But I just received these yesterday, delivered to my home from the Walmart store. When I started putting the groceries away, I had a real surprise! The one can of the 2pack Crescent rolls was already popped open when i removed it from the sack‼️I don't feel safe using them now. But the expiration date is good, it has NOT expired! Will ask for refund or new delivery sent to me.
These croissants are so good. I buy them all the time to make pig in a blankets for my grandchildren which they enjoy. And then I make a few croissants to go along with them for the non-meat eating grandchildren lol. Easy to bake just watch your oven times!
I put cinnamon, brown sugar, apple spice, ground cloves into small bowl and stir. i set up the Crescent Rolls and divide into the triangles. I rub some melted butter lightly onto triangle then put the mixture onto each one. I wrap up 1 apple slice with no skin into each roll. I bake 25 minutes at 350 until golden brown. I also put melted butter over the tops before baking but this is optional. They come out fabulous. I need to make 16 of them at once because when I use 1 can everyone eats them in a matter of minutes in my home. lol
I make churro cheesecake about 2-3 times per week , so I use these crescent rolls A LOT ! Recently I noticed that they have been popping randomly. I always put them away as soon as it's home , i actually learned to do that the hard way when I first started using these . I do purchase 6 packs at a time , may have something to do with how long i have them maybe 5/6 days . But overall I use these for all of my baking requiring anything with these rolls . And it has to be this brand anything else is super flimsy , delicate , and doesn't taste as good .
usually love these, but this time I was pretty disappointed. Both packages had dough that wasn’t cut evenly, so some pieces were really small while others were much larger. It made it hard to get consistent rolls, and they ended up baking unevenly with different cook times. Hoping this was just a one-time issue because they’re normally great!
The quality of the Cresscent rolls seems to have diminished. They have been a go to for many of my recipes but now they seems smaller and thinner. I will still buy them because we do use them as a side for dinner but wish they were the way they were for some of our favorite recipes.
Definitely different than a standard or what is well known to be a croissant. This is pretty much biscuit dough in triangular shapes. Also, although not Pillsbury's fault - or is it? - one of the lids had popped off of one of the cans, and dough was spilling out into the grocery bag when received. Lastly, I'm not sure how these cans have survived, and not only survived, but thrived in terms of sales for so many years seeing as I'm always hesitant to pop one open. Haha.
Item arrived damaged. I was told I would have to bring it back to the store to get a refund. I am not driving 15 miles with the price of gas to return an item that should have never been delivered like this. I wish shoppers would look items over. Several bad item lately. Very disappointed. That just ruined my dinner plans!! IA is no help what so ever.
