I'm a baker by trade, and most commercial bakeries now they use Pillsbury. when baking a white cake mix always separate the yolk from the White and use the White. keep the yolk you can put it in a baggie and have it for breakfast. you always want to bounce your cake pan to get the air bubbles out. when you use just the weights the cake bakes faster always keep an eye on your cake because it doesn't take long to bake a white cake compared to other cakes. Pillsbury is one of the best cake mixes out there. my grandkids absolutely love this cake. one pick the cake mix, one pick the icing and one picked the sprinkles I was in another state for my husband's birthday I usually make him a cake, I made icing the works, but I wasn't with him this year for his birthday so we did this and videoed him and the grandkids blew the candle out for him.

Of course, I make my delicious cakes with these Cupcakes because kids love Cupcakes, but I make a lot of box cake cookies, my family loves my box cake cookies. This has been my son's favorite cake his entire life. He is 30 now and I still make it for him on his birthday, along with Rainbow chip frosting.

Disappointed it's not organic Making cookies instead of instructions on box. Big mixer add all at once. Cake mix. 3 egg whites. Scant 1/2 cup oil. 1/3 cup flour 1/2 teas almond extract. 1 teas. Baking powder. 1/2 teas baking soda. Convection oven 275 degrees. Scoop to parchment covered cookie sheet Check at 6. Minutes. Cookies should be risen and slightly golden makes. 20 to 24 cookies

This is not the original funfetti frosting. It tastes terrible and I have to find something else noe

I'm not sure what they have changed with this cake mix but the last 2 times I have baked it, it hasn't baked right. The batter doesn't even mix right, it gets thick and sticky and the cake comes out like you're eating a cleaning sponge. This is the only cake I ever have this problem with and it has only been the last 2 times I tried it, but I get Betty Crocker brand in all the other flavors, so maybe that's why. I guess I should have gotten the Walmart brand instead of the funfetti.
