Pillsbury Funfetti Celebration Cake Mix, 19.4 oz Box

The Funfetti Celebrations box includes a regular sized cake mix and an insane amount of sprinkles. This box is perfect for a fancy two layered cake, or for some decorated cake pops. My daughter loves all of the bright colors and especially getting to help decorate and I love that it is the same great taste of funfetti cake mix i have enjoyed my whole life.

This Pillsbury Funfetti Celebrations cake mix kit is a nice addition to the Pillsbury line. It includes a generous packet of colorful mixed sprinkles to decorate your cake with in addition to the funfetti cake mix. It does not include frosting so you can still obtain your frosting flavor of choice but the addition of sprinkles to this set is very convenient versus having to buy one or more separate packages of sprinkles to achieve the same effect. The box itself also has some perforated sections that you can remove and decorate your cake/cupcakes with. This review was collected as part of a promotion, and the opinions are my own.

I am really surprised at what a delicious, moist cake this box mix made! It bounces back like a pillow! And it was so easy to make. You might want to check on the cake a few minutes before the recommended baking time, because my two layers were ready a little sooner. There is a very generous amount of fancy decorative sprinkles to make this the perfect cake for a celebration!

Today, I tried Pillsbury Funfetti Celebrations cake mix. The kit includes the cake mix and a generous amount of "funfetti" to coat the frosted cake after you have made it. I was pleased that there was enough "funfetti" in the packet to coat the cake and make it look truly festive. In addition to the coating packet, colorful sprinkles are in the cake mix so each piece is colorful inside and out. Beyond looking good, the cake should taste good too. This cake tastes as good as it looks. the cake was moist and had a really good vanilla flavor. This cake mix is definitely a hit and I know I be making it again and again.

This slightly larger size Funfetti celebrate cake mix, while convenient if you're looking for extra sprinkles to add, is exactly the same as the smaller box. the weight difference is most likely the extra candy bits. We enjoyed making cupcakes with it but did not utilize the full amount of sprinkles because it seemed to be a bit much for our taste. if. you are looking to create a bright, candy covered cake for a party though, I would recommend this one so you don't have to buy the extra sprinkles.

Overall, I love this product easy the instructions taste was really good in the extra included sprinkles and pearls was a great addition.  complaint is nowhere on the package didn't mention the need to buy a frosting for the cake or cupcakes. You were making the way the box made it up here with the added sprinkles was that everything was included in the box.

I thought this was a super fun baking project for the kids. They love baking shows and so this was a simpler way to make this style of cake. It was super moist and light. The sprinkles added fun texture without being too hard or too much when eating. The only downside was having to buy frosting separate. I think for a kit, it should all be included. Maybe make a large callout on box to make people aware too since not everyone will check.

What attracted me to this product was that it included the decorative sprinkles in the box. It also mentions that you can cut out the little pictures on the box and use them as toppers, however because of the excitement in noticing the cake mix and sprinkles, I totally forgot to buy frosting in order for the sprinkles to adhere. So now I have to go back to the store to buy the frosting! I would probably recommend that the company place on the box for us, customers, not to forget to buy the frosting of choice to use with this cake mix and decorative sprinkles. Costumer error!

I love the concept of this kit. Funfetti is the best cake flavor and I love the inclusion of sprinkles. However because frosting is not included, including just sprinkles seems like it misses the mark? I still had to buy one other thing so it's barely a kit.

Pillsbury makes good cake mixes. Funfetti by itself with regular icing is on the eve of too much. All of thes sprinkles and such are too much. Also, if they are going to include all of that, why not include the icing as well (other than to make more money)?
